Browns official comments on Beckham trade

Eric from BBI : Admin : 3/13/2019 4:08 pm
John Dorsey on Odell: "Very rarely do you get a chance to acquire a player of this magnitude. He's at a relatively young age. He's got a lot of football left in him. Great hands, great work ethic, committed, competitive, he really wants to be great. That's all you can ask for."

I know you can't wait. You probably already bought the Browns jersey. Enjoy following him on Instagram.

No douche bag, I was born a Giants fan and will die one. I can almost guarantee that I have been following them before the best part of you ran down your Mom's leg. I will root for him to be successful. I do believe he was mis-judged and I do believe he will be successful. I believe we got worse today and for the next few years over this decision. You do not trade Elite players unless you get a elite return. That did not happen. But, I guess it is okay for you, because it is not about whether we got better, it is about that your happy he is gone.

Me too. The Giants have reached new lows and while I have barely missed a game in the last 25 years it may be time to skip out on the season. I do t have a desire o spend my money on this product and a new #1 wr in SS who looks like he is running through quicksand at all times.

People are already putting Odell in the hall? That CLOWN hasn't won 1 playoff game yet. Dude is NOT prime time! Why he so special? One highlight catch? He is hot on insta? He popularized a hairdo? Iverson did that too but actually won games in the playoffs and was MVP, whats OBJ accomplished? Quit on his team and never play a full season? Toxic to impressionable teammates? Give me a break.
Anyone who references 1 player and a non QB to discuss records
OBJ_AllDay : 3/13/2019 5:19 pm : link
(Or playoff records) in a game that includes 11 offensive players 11 defensive players and a whole bunch of special teams units is a simpleton.

They have to go get Kyler Murray or do something to generate some sort of buzz.

And why exactly must they do something to generate some sort of buzz?

You disagree? Look at the facts, Greg. How many average, not even good, just average defenses has Eli been a part of here?

The answer is downright grotesque. You’re damn right poor Eli.
poor eli

played behind some of the crappiest patchworked lines ever.

and in that time managed to get Beckham the ball making him HOF status.

give the fucking guy credit and then give him some more credit for not being an asshole and throwing his team under the bus!(i mean, outside of what he did to SD)

THat defense gave him the opportunity to win his first championship.

There's no debt to fucking repay here.

Maybe you missed it, but he was eclipsed as best O player ever in Giants' history this past year by Saquon.

Who doesn't sit out games with questionable muscle contusions, and doesn't throw his team mates under a bus in interviews.

Start small here. Saquon hasn't even eclipsed Tiki Barber's best season.

Third all time in receiving yards per game of all players through their age 26 season. Tenth in TDs despite playing in 15-35 fewer games than all but one man ahead of him. Tenth in receptions, same thing with the fewer games.

You may hate him, but he's been obscenely productive.

To be fair, I think the best offensive player in NY Giants history is on the current roster.
I would agree, but OBJ, in my opinion, has the chance to be the best WR ever. We could have had 2 of the top 5 offensive players in the league every year for the next 5 years or more.

Absolutely. Until this past season, when he had the misfortune of playing on the same team as Barkley, I have continuously called him the best offensive player in my lifetime. And, yes, I realize that lifetime includes Rice, Sanders, Payton, etc. I still think he is that good and has a chance to go down as the best WR ever if he plays long enough.

I've gotten over the shock of the trade and my anger/disappointment is waning. But, in my opinion, Gettleman has to hit a fucking HR up and down this draft to make this draft remotely work. However, I fear he will take the acquisition of the #17 pick to use #6 on a QB who is nowhere near worthy of it.

Even sitting out 4 games this year he led the giants in receiving yards and TDs. I could give a flying screw about interviews.
was pissed about the trade
bc4life : 3/13/2019 9:02 pm : link
but if the reports are true about him being increasingly difficult to work with. makes sense.

worst part of it -highlighted two idiotic BBI mindsets - those who refuse to consider that maybe he was too much of a pain in the ass for coaches to deal with and thise that try to diminish his generational talent and make him out to be enroute to becoming a serial killer.
all things considered

best landing spot for OBJ might have been New England
