John Dorsey on Odell: "Very rarely do you get a chance to acquire a player of this magnitude. He's at a relatively young age. He's got a lot of football left in him. Great hands, great work ethic, committed, competitive, he really wants to be great. That's all you can ask for."
No douche bag, I was born a Giants fan and will die one. I can almost guarantee that I have been following them before the best part of you ran down your Mom's leg. I will root for him to be successful. I do believe he was mis-judged and I do believe he will be successful. I believe we got worse today and for the next few years over this decision. You do not trade Elite players unless you get a elite return. That did not happen. But, I guess it is okay for you, because it is not about whether we got better, it is about that your happy he is gone.
Best offensive player in NY Giants history.
Me too. The Giants have reached new lows and while I have barely missed a game in the last 25 years it may be time to skip out on the season. I do t have a desire o spend my money on this product and a new #1 wr in SS who looks like he is running through quicksand at all times.
...
And why exactly must they do something to generate some sort of buzz?
You disagree? Look at the facts, Greg. How many average, not even good, just average defenses has Eli been a part of here?
The answer is downright grotesque. You’re damn right poor Eli.
and in that time managed to get Beckham the ball making him HOF status.
give the fucking guy credit and then give him some more credit for not being an asshole and throwing his team under the bus!(i mean, outside of what he did to SD)

THat defense gave him the opportunity to win his first championship.
There's no debt to fucking repay here.

Maybe you missed it, but he was eclipsed as best O player ever in Giants' history this past year by Saquon.
Who doesn't sit out games with questionable muscle contusions, and doesn't throw his team mates under a bus in interviews.
Quote:
I hope he comes in here in 2020 goes for 200 yds and a couple TDs.

Start small here. Saquon hasn't even eclipsed Tiki Barber's best season.
Third all time in receiving yards per game of all players through their age 26 season. Tenth in TDs despite playing in 15-35 fewer games than all but one man ahead of him. Tenth in receptions, same thing with the fewer games.
You may hate him, but he's been obscenely productive.
You owe me $4.50. I just spit my beer all over the table. I'll send you my PayPal.

To be fair, I think the best offensive player in NY Giants history is on the current roster.

I've gotten over the shock of the trade and my anger/disappointment is waning. But, in my opinion, Gettleman has to hit a fucking HR up and down this draft to make this draft remotely work. However, I fear he will take the acquisition of the #17 pick to use #6 on a QB who is nowhere near worthy of it.

Even sitting out 4 games this year he led the giants in receiving yards and TDs. I could give a flying screw about interviews.
worst part of it -highlighted two idiotic BBI mindsets - those who refuse to consider that maybe he was too much of a pain in the ass for coaches to deal with and thise that try to diminish his generational talent and make him out to be enroute to becoming a serial killer.
