the Giants showed absolutely no interest in him despite having his former OC as HC, with a 37 year old QB nearing the end, and no heir to Eli on the roster.
that Miami was almost openly saying they were gonna tank this season. I don’t pay much interest to Miami, but I found it surprising the quotes they had in it. It really is a fear of mine that it will only take one team to start this trend in the NFL. I am beyond annoyed with the Giants moves, but I am not sure I can say they are actually purposefully tanking this season. I also wouldn’t argue with someone that felt they were. Regarding Bridgewater and Miami, I think their master plan has been to get a QB in the 2020 draft after a crappy season and start to build from there. Would Bridgewater go there and try to audition for other teams? I always felt bad for the guy with his injury. Looking at a few QBs around the league I am surprised he has never really gotten a better shot at starting games again.
Sounds like the Dolphins talked him into a visit before he re-signs with the Saints.
