He comes out in 2021 (3 year rule). So we need to tank for two years.

No..you just need to use this years 1st rounders to get more future draft assets.
If giants don't like a QB this year, use the picks to get 1st rounders and 2nd rounders next year... If they don't like any of the QBs next year, do that again.
The key now is just making sure you have the draft capital to move up and get the guy you want when you want him.
You're right, let's do this - with the 29th pick in the 2019 NFL Draft, the New York Giants select Jeffery Simmons - DE/DT - MISSST. I know he's coming off an ACL, but we're not trying to win in 2019 anyway and he's a top 10 talent. Let's grab him here before the Patriots do at 32.
OK, how about Terrill Hanks - LB - NMEXST?
The point is that we have enough draft capital to assemble a nucleus of young talent and to create value vs. the market at several key positions. Just a couple of moves away from turning this team back in the right direction.

You realize that you're probably talking about a 1 or 2-win season, right? And that if that happens, there's probably another housecleaning? And then there'll be a new GM with a new plan?
Not if ownership buys into the plan.
Yes, we started with 2 firsts, a second, a third, a fourth, 4 fifths, a sixth and 2 sevenths. We end up with 2 firsts, 3 seconds, a better third, 2 fourths, 2 fifths, a sixth and a seventh. And by the way, I just lost my title for most troll post of the year to date.
Tell me what you really think...
