N’Keal Harry- WR- Arizona State

Keaton028 : 3/13/2019 7:43 pm
I think this guy has the tools to be a real weapon. I don’t think anyone will have the natural ability of OBJ, but Harry is a guy I think could come in immediately and produce. He has got decent size, is elusive, and has the production to show. Hoping he is an option at either #17 or in the second round.
N’Keal Harry Highlights - ( New Window )
really good

tight coverage, Back shoulder, WR... I am a fan. My second favorite behind AJ Brown.
If we draft a WR at 17 or in the 2nd
robbieballs2003 : 3/13/2019 7:45 pm : link
people will always use Beckham as the measuring stick and that is going to be tough.
I like him, and I love the size

It may be too early for him at 17, and too late to grab him in round 2.

Hopeful we can nab him on Day 2.

I’m not so sure. I think most realize we are building around Saquon, and don’t expect a guy to come in and be Odell. If a guy like Harry can come in and contribute, and be enough of a threat where opposing defenses can’t just stack the box, I don’t think you will see the comparisons.

How's he compare to Metcalf?
Impressive highlights
DonnieD89 : 3/13/2019 7:54 pm : link
Catches very well in traffic fighting for the ball. Also demonstrates great body control when going up for the ball.

Metcalf is a huge straight line fast WR and good blocker. Harry to me is a much more complete WR. I like him.
He;s a much better football player than
Lionhart28 : 3/13/2019 7:57 pm : link
Metcalf, imo
Metcalf
Keaton028 : 3/13/2019 7:58 pm : link
To me is in the same grouping of receivers like Breshad Perriman. Fast straight line players, who have trouble in and out of breaks. Seems stiff when he plays. I am not as high on him.

Agreed look at the triangle numbers.

I have Butler 1 and then Harry and Brown.
2nd

Any chance Harry is there in the second tho? If so I can get onboard

Perriman issue is he can't catch. He reminds of the other WR that some keep mention over and over.

Butler is Perriman if you ask me.
Possibly if there is a run

on QBs and defense in the first. I think someone will take Metcalf in the first based on his measurables, hopefully not us. Harry could sneak into the 2nd.

Normal people wont but you know the market we live in. I cannot listen to sports talk radio around here. You know the types of reporters we have. Bad game by the guy and there will be articles written about how he was the main prize of the trade. Just saying it is a tough position if we take a WR at 17 because he'll be under the microscope.

I’m just a fan not a scout by any means. But when I watch Perriman, he seems stiff running any routes that aren’t go routes or posts. That’s all I meant.

We can’t worry about that noise if it makes our team better. And, maybe it doesn’t have to be #17. Maybe the 2nd round is a possibility.

I've saw a bunch of Ole Miss games this year and I'm on board with Brown. IMO, he's easily the better player then Metcalf who only played about 7 games I believe.

Yep... I am actually surprised Brown isn't getting more attention as a top player in the draft.

I hear you... I just don't like WRs that have trouble catching balls... I can't think of very many WRs that somehow got better at catching once they got to the NFL.
I agree.
Keaton028 : 3/13/2019 8:49 pm : link
I’m not really that familiar with Butler, so I’ll defer to your judgment on him. All I know is to my eyes, Harry is the goods.
Another wideout who's big and fast is Miles Boykin. He's not as
Ira : 3/13/2019 9:04 pm : link
experienced as some of the other wideouts, but he's got great hands and wins most contests. He's a bigger, faster Hakeem Nicks.
I don't like highlihgt videos like this
sxdxca : 3/13/2019 10:22 pm : link
It shows you nothing. It's best to actually watch the games the player is in, and see how he does. You get a much better understanding of what is going on. That's how you learn about who is actually good and who is not.

It’s inevitable. The same thing happened when Plax was not on the team.

The narrative was, “Are the Giants going to find their next Plaxico Burress in the draft?”

And the Giants have not had a sure-handed, tall, productive end zone target ever since. One reason I've always believed Eli has struggled near the End Zone ever since Plax shot himself.
