to think of Rosen..but if he can be had for a 3rd round pick and a cheap ass contract..you take that low-risk, high-reward chance if your only worry is character concerns. If it tanks then use draft capital to get one of the 2020 guys. Easier said than done but it makes sense at the moment.

and Rosen. If a second could nab Rosen I think it’s a no brainer.

is that JonC. has been adamant that the personality and attitude were in conflict last year when they were scouting the QB prospects. Would a year being drafted lower than he expected; a year getting pummeled by defenders; and a year later getting shipped off to a team for not even a first not be enough humble pie to temper the personality/attitude? Rosen has been feasting on humble pie since last May.

With regards to JT- his most recent comments have been more indicative of a current perspective. He said it isn't happening. I'm inclined to believe him but not sure if the current perspective is just a carry-over from last year's scouting effort.

If I'm wrong in my interpretation, I hope that either of them will correct me. I don't intend to speak for them.

Personally, I consider it a low risk/high reward opportunity if Rosen becomes available. He doesn't need to sit, but having Eli in house might groom in the "Giants Way" and curtail possible attitude/personality conflicts.

This tell me that we are out on Rosen. I was OK, in fact more than OK with the OBJ deal. This one? Dont get it. In my ideal world, IF AZ is stuck on Murray, pry him away for the 2nd rounder. Use both ones on D OR D and RT. If Rosen stinks it up, well....you still only invested a 2nd rounder.

No it wouldn't...if they trade for Rosen he isn't a stop gap, it's because they think he can be franchise guy. This would seriously speed up turnaround as we can spend some Free agency $$ and draft to fill other holes

Regardless, he would be a franchise until the first time his bell gets rung. Then, he’s pension-bound. Better QB with less risk in 2020, IMO

In exploring Rosen if he were made available, just as theiy are with Murray, Haskins, Lock etc. Graziano looked as though as he was being paid by the word, but you misrepresented what he was attempting to say.

The guy was arguably the top QB in last drafts QB heavy draft. He held up well behind the worst OL in football, after beating out Bradford. The guy is a franchise level QB. Getting him and Barkley would be huge.

I dont love the guy either, but....If he can be had for the 2nd rounder, he is worth a shot. The talent is there. If he stinks, then you try for one of the upcoming prospects in the next 2 drafts.

A 2nd is a pretty hard thing to just toss away.
