A lot going on and I have been too busy with work to keep up with it all. I saw the Zags lost to St Marys - what's up with that.

Tonight St Johns beat DePaul in a game worthy of the playgrounds on West 4th Street. Wish the Johnnies well but they don't inspire much confidence in me - built more like a playground team than an NBA team.

Please post your random thoughts about college hoops at the moment - like I said, a lot going on, but I've been too busy to follow it all.

Just watched some of the pre-game - you're right that it is all Zion, all the time. Glad to see him back though.

Concerned about Marcus Evans' knee.

I don't care about next week as much as I care about next year. If his knee is significantly damaged, after his two ACL's, that could be a career problem.

I thought we were poised to win one or two next week. Now just happy to be there.

Texas Tech and LSU probably locked themselves out of the top 8.

Houston might be able to get into the top 8 if Michigan craps the bed, but I doubt it. Now it's just a matter of how the top 8 teams are aligned.

Tony's rotations in particular looked like he was treating this like and exhibition game. I don't have any other explanation for why Clark played so much.

We kicked ass in the ACCT last year and it wasn't remotely predictive of how we played in the Dance, so I'm not losing too much sleep over this game. On to the real tournament.

the theory of "getting the loss out of the way" may apply if it's win-or-out from here. I enjoy watching UVA - just some fun and talented players on the team. That said, FSU went with two or three big men much of the time and they weren't stiffs - that's not a bad team.

But I worry about how heavy he is and how short he is. Athleticism goes away. I know he has great court vision and is a a well rounded prospect, but I would feel better if he was 6�10�.

I would still take him #1 without a second thought. But I would not be surprised if he�s not as successful in the NBA or doesn�t have a long career as a top NBA player.

John Calipari has to be the most annoying head coach on the sideline in college basketball. He was bitching about everything when Kentucky was getting 98% of the calls. Seriously STFU.

and I wasnt around for Pete Maravich or Kareem... But Zion may be the best college player I have ever seen. I hope he goes to a team I dont despide in the NBA.
