Not allowed ....only kidding, but I do not know of any FA RT that are worth big bucks
Still annoyed they lost Williams....i wonder if his medical did not go well? He only signed a 1 year 7 million....which I would think the Giants would have gone deeper.
The list of remaining FA...seem to be old, or damaged. I am not seeing FA that arw young with upside.
I hope I get pleasantly surprise....my concern is....they will now do smething stupid to appease the mob

I have seen BBI be upset that the Giants DIDN'T sign a guy coming off an injury. Especially one on the Oline where we have signed/drafted guys that either failed or failed because they could never stay healthy (Schwartz, Pugh, Richburg)
It appears Eli at qb next yr and I don't think we're going to be a winning team....
Just position ourselves for a 2020 qb pick
Don't sign any big time FA, let us recoup the comp picks... build through the draft and sign cut guys or guys that don't hurt the comp formula...
If we're going full rebuild, you have to hit bottom... might as well get the #1 pick - we've been caught in the middle trying to compete for long enough...

This is a straw-man argument. Has anyone here, EVER said they want to overpay for an injured RT? No.
I would however pay a bargain price for a young former All-Pro RT who is recovered from an injury last year.
Im not saying they made a bad decision and maybe Williams just wanted to stay in Carolina but now we basically have to pick a RT early in the draft and that is when teams force picks.

There is so much we dont know, and yes, I include myself in the mob. For example, we think Williams is our man, but then when he resigns for a much less market value and for only one year, many of us have been given a glimpse into knowledge and yet we resist its meaning. We choose to stay ignorant and determine to call DG names is still the wisest course of action. Is this wise?

You are not getting bargains the first day of FA. Hence, you would have to over pay to sign him.
Why is he the only option in your mind?
what I find hilarious is the thought that IF Eli is QB next year
That and that alone is cause to write off the season. What a joke. They have ONE position on the OL to work on. There will be multiple times between now and the start of the season to find someone slightly better than Wheeler. The offense is going to be better. Its the defense that you have to worry about. They have a couple of safeties. They need to get some edge rushers a linebacker and a CB. No Easy feat. But with a draft heavy on D talent, a lot of draft picks and the right focus, I wouldn't bet against a winning record and a possible playoff game. This is the NFL. Between the lousy officiating, the inevitable injuries and the any given sunday thing, its pretty likely. I compare the OBJ trade to the Islanders Losing Tavares; And I think Tavares meant more to them than OBJ meant to the Giants. The ret of the team will have a bit of a chip. And the rest of the league, if you go by the media, thinks we're a joke. Banking on a QB this year or next year is a waste of time. You do what you can with what you have where you are.

Not one for NYG of those guys.
Steelers and Patriots interested in WR Golden Tate
He traded Mack to the Bears (and had no pass rush)
He traded Cooper
He brought in some cheap Veterans
he drafted a DL in the 5th with a health problem who produced (was his best beck arguably)
He brought in an older veteran WR
He embraced the suck for a year and got his roster more to his liking.
This year he is locked and loaded and with 3 1st round picks he controls the draft after the #1 pick is sorted.
It's going to be a hard fall when Brees retires. Saints restructure Brees' contract to open cap space - ( New Window )
That move and the fact that Bridgewater is seriously considering a return to NO over starting elsewhere, tells me that this may be Brees' last year.
Maybe he wasn't offered a starting job elsewhere. The only teams that really expressed an interest in him are Miami and the Saints. Perhaps Miami passed on him leaving the Saints as his only real option.
Skins to sign Ha Ha Clinton Dix or Eric Berry.
Depends on If Dix signs with Bears or not.
Redskins to make big splash on #1 WR.
It's why AP re-signed with Skins, as he was about to sign with Bears as well apparently.
Don't know which WR, though.
Rumor has it, its either AJ Green or Mike Evans.
Some sources say it could be Julio Jones because of the Alabama connection.
Stay tuned!
That would be awesome if they gave up their 2020 1st round pick for a WR. They are likely a 6-10 to 7-9 team with Keenum and that pick could end up being high and it would take them out of the hunt for the top QB's in 2020.
2 once in a lifetime WR gone for a discounted return
3 QB once again the "guest that would never leave" // and I don't blame him, I blame management for living in the past
Collins cleaned out his locker and told Twitter he doesn't need anything he left behind. We need players who are going to buy-in, and keep their gripes in the locker room. Enough is Enough.

👍👍🏿👏🏼👏🏼
I do not want damaged good....but a young probowler coming off a year+ acl, as a RT...slap on a brace and get back in there
But Only if he was healthy....but yes, wanted that last piece at RT resolved with a proven man....not a kid.

That WR rumor mill is pretty amazing with those names.
I've always like AJ Green and thought he deserved better than Dalton and Cincinnati.
I could see New England getting in on this...

I think it was that he wouldn't be happy being tagged, but he'd play under it if need be.
Jason Verrett, CB
Signed a 1 year $3.6 million contract with San Francisco (SF)
Would have been worth the risk at 3.6M, and if all goes well he signs a big deal the next year helping with comp picks.

Doesn't mean they don't have something scheduled.
He averaged 12 yds per catch last year. A #2 guy here? They also released AJ McCarron
