Cardinals Rosen and Murray

Either way the Giants and the Cards seem like a perfect fit for a trade. If Arizona is not taking Murray what would it cost to get to number 1? The cards just back up 5 knowing we would take a QB. The other match is if they take Murray we are a perfect fit for Rosen seeing we pick early in the second round, we even have a 17th in the first if its a swap of picks. Say Rosen for the 17th and we get there 2nd round pick or something like that.

I would prefer to trade the 37th pick, but in your scenario we get the first pick of day 2 which is a great value pick, giving us 2 early 2nd round picks.

It would be nice to get our QB settled prior to the draft

think the price would be if the Giants would want to move up to number 1 and take Murray? I don't see Murray getting past the Raiders or Tampa.

They are going to stand pat and take Bosa. Trade down to 6 and they have no guarantee of who will be there.

Remember, and I know its hard to believe, the Cards were actually worse than the G-Men last year.

that said the most important piece is getting a franchise QB and if the Giants really like him than go get him. I want to know what would you and everyone think it would take?

Would likely cost both #1s this year plus some. By way of comparison, the Jets gave up #6 and 3 2nd round picks just to get to #3 last year.

If the plan is to get ahead of the Raiders for Murray they are likely giving up a 2nd this year and possibly a 2nd next year as well.

stats and speed speak for themselves and if the Giants feel he is the guy than so be it. So if he is 5 10 and can move in the pocket extend places and run great. Maybe he falls to 6 and that is great if that is who we want.

is why I ask because if the Giants feel that highly about Murray I don't think he gets by the Raiders or Tampa. If not someone will move ahead of the Giants.

They pass on Murray, Giants wouldn't trade to #1 they can trade up to 2 or 3. Just have to get ahead of raiders

They are paying Eli the $5M roster bonus, do you really believe they will cut him now? IMO he will be here to groom his successor and given the fond farewell he deserves.

said he was 5'8" but he is a little over 5' 10" and weighs 205. So not much different than Russell Wilson at 5' 11" at 215lbs.

Well said, couldnt agree more. Very excited to start over with 12 new rookies. Including basically 3 first rounders.Other than a top WR and maybe a couple of O-Line I go defense defense defense. And Hopefully the LSU linebacker is one of them

Tells me that they keep aligned after March 17th, eat the 5 million as a goodbye gift. Then they trade for Rosen right before the draft. Why would the Cardinals trade Rosen now for low value? Something could pop out about M Marine in the next 2 months that makes him slide out of the first round.
