This. It really sucks to be a giants fan right now. Hiring 90 year old GM who cannot adjust to the personalities of today’s generation is a big mistake by Mara. Corporate America spends tons of time training for the personality of millennials because they are just different. Whether you think it’s right or wrong the social media environment today has changed the whole perspective on today’s athletes. In my view OBJ was just a 25 year old being a 25 year old, but everything he does Is scrutinized because of media coverage and social media. I think we can all agree that players from 30 years ago were doing the same stuff and probably worse because they would never get caught. Gettleman cannot relate with the younger generation of today and it costs us arguably the second most talented player to ever wear a giants uniform. Shame on john Mara and Gettleman. Both should be immediately relieved form their current roles. Their in adequate at their jobs, Mara for not being a younger mind and Gettleman for being an old man with no insight to tosay’s Generation of players.

Yesterday I woke up relaxed with a feeling of having a breath of fresh air knowing that he's not on this team anymore.
This is just me, but I feel good about this team now that he's not here.
Like, I'm excited to watch them next year now.

Faked an injury for the last 4 games and basically disappeared, wasnt on the sidelines, nothing.

Giants had to trade him... No choice

The team feels he did, and that's a serious charge for a football player, doubt they open the can of worms without evidence.

I'm not sure how this is so unbelievable to some. The early exits to the lockerroom, the tension with Schurmur (and apparently cursing), the Lil Wayne interview, the onside kick business decision...my guess is, among other things, that he thought Eli was holding him back. Not so sure I believe the whole didn't want to play second fiddle to Saquon

Don't start every year 0-4 if you don't want your players looking out for their well being with injuries late in the season.
