Was there a firm report on how hard we tried for D.Williams?

Just trying to get a gauge on if we offered a sizeable contract or not or the interest was just lukewarm.

Could be wrong, but to go back on a 1 year prove it deal, tells me our offer likely wasn't significantly better.

I saw a bunch of speculation we would be interested, but I saw nothing about the Giants actually contacting him. Doesn't mean it didn't happen. But I didn't see it.
