Does Russell Wilson test FA next season?

Platos : 3/14/2019 2:26 pm
he's in a contract year and supposedly mentioned he'd like to play in NY.

i personally love the guy, can make time with his feet, has a good arm. makes the most out of his receivers(never really had a stud WR but still produces). He's a winner.

what do you think?

that the Seahawks let him walk and get nothing in return. If they can't sign an extension they'll obviously franchise him. If you want him, you're trading for him.
what I'd give

for a QB with some athletic ability...
Why on Earth would the Seahawks

Even want to let him hit FA?

That's what I don't get with the calls to "Get Wilson" without him they got nothing and he still has years ahead of him
He'll command

a hefty salary, but I wouldn't be opposed.

Because he is going to be very expensive to sign. They haven't been nearly as dominant since he signed his first big contract and its likely he will be getting over $30m/year in his next contract.

Correct. It is not their model. Seattle does not over pay, even for popular players. I think he gets close to 35 million/ year.

The NFL is moving toward the NBA model. If you have a big star, and they'd rather play somewhere else, there may not be much you can do.

Can't tag

him ... it is cost prohibitive he makes too much ... he signs it and refuses to do an extension they are screwed ... No one is giving them more than a 3rd due to they'll have no leverage
