He’s a FA after this upcoming season. Can’t play on the outside. Tate does his best work out the slot.
How would you feel about dealing Shepard and adding additional picks this year, rather than waiting until 2 seasons from now, when we might get a comp pick. I can’t see DG extending him.
Say a low 3rd or high 4th round pick. Patriots?
Thoughts?
This place is getting crazy. I think we need more than 1 WR.
One thing to keep in mind though- the Giants should have $100m+ in cap space next year. So if they wanna splurge on him, they can do it.
DG is clueless. but let's all pretend like he's a GM that was touched by the hand of god
Maybe he can trade you with Tesla and SHO'NUFF for a bag of donuts. We'll never get the additional hot dog for you.

You would re-sign Shepard and have both him and Tate play the slot? Or you would move one to a position they don't play well?
I think Engram can be shopped also. He has 2 years remaining on his contract so I would peg him to yield a 2nd. If we can get Hockenson with #17, then we would have an actual receiving/blocking TE that fits a run-first offense.
I think Jackrabbit has trade value.
Zona gets Murray another good WR to add to Murray's arsenal
he should either be extended now (bad idea as he's not worth big money) or traded before the season starts to maximize the return on him

I like this

Awwww...somebody doesn’t like the fact that we employ a poor GM...boo fucking hoo!

They already have Christian Kirk for that spot

Him and Engram are the last pieces from Reese (that have trade value).

Sure, if you want to deal in 5th round picks. I don't consider late round picks of having much value. With his age and contract, I don't see too many teams willing to give up a 4th or higher. I know people love having tons of picks, but in my opinion, there isn't much distinguishing a 5th rounder from the UDFA. I'm sure the draft geeks will be quick to come back at me with examples such as Tom Brady. But for every exception, there are a hundred guys that wash out of the NFL who are late rounders.
He is also extremely well liked by his teammates and around the league.
Trading him would be incredibly stupid. So, yes, I expect he will be traded.
Curious for a rebuilding team to make this switch if that's the plan.

Don't get ahead of yourself, maybe they'll just cut him.
Of course this applies to Eli as well, but that ain’t ever gonna happen with this ownership group. More concerned with optics than winning.
Who wouldn’t want an extra 4 in a draft filled with good OL in that range?
I wouldn't want to trade him unless is was a crazy offer.
Besides SS is the kind of receiver coaches love.
Hard worker
Sacrificed his body blocking
Keeps quiet
Catches most balls
Pretty good on 3rd down
No shit. Really?
Or this franchise will spin its wheels indefinitely.
