I watched all three of them and I am even more excited about this trade. This kid/young man has got "it". Character/family/work ethic...all the intangibles beyond the AA. We got ourselves a winnah!
as well as the third rounder and the swap back of picks after the Veron trade is almost icing on the cake when really looking at the value of Jabrill Peppers alone. It's easy to see the impact of an offensive weapon like Odell, but Peppers could be that type of guy for our defense. An all-world athlete who is a true playmaker and student of the game. We needed him very badly and he is a young player primed to come into his own. Looking at the players that we've acquired (aside from getting rid of Odell and Vernon) we have added guys we truly needed. A top tier O-lineman, a very good receiver, an athletic pass rusher, and a veteran S, as well as a top flight athlete at the other S position/moneybacker who can really keep offenses up at night. We definitely have a plan and we are executing it swiftly.
