Marvin Lewis on NFL Network just talking about Josh Rosen

So I’ll take his opinion here.

I am for the opposite of whatever Marc Ross says. I know it's 7 years too late, but better late than never.

I'd be happy with either.

and keep rosen. They could trade with the raiders down to 4 pick up a ton of picks and get one of the 3 elite Dlineman still

As their back up QB Arizona has signaled they are picking Murray because Hundley and Murray have similar playing styles.

I thought Hundley was a pocket passer and not much of a duel threat type. No?

Ross is a moron. However, if you watch Murray he really is more of a pocket passer than people think. He can run insanely well, but he didn’t seem like Lamar Jackson to me.

Arizona takes Murray, it doesn’t make any sense to me. If they recoup a first rounder for Rosen maybe it’s not terrible, but he was really liked by a lot of people last draft and I thought he played well as a rookie behind that line.

Even so, how would that make him more like Hundley? Rosen is a pocket passer as well.

that that Marc Ross says. Total know nothing phony . Why is he being quoted here of all places. Hard to believe. Next we will hear from Reese. Let them both go out and find new jobs. which will be very hard.

I don't know if something changed in Green Bay, but at UCLA Brett Hundley was 100% a dual threat QB. He ran for 1747 yards over 3 seasons. He not only gained yards scrambling but they ran plenty of option plays and designed QB runs.

In fact, this was one of the most frustrating things watching Josh Rosen in his first year as QB at UCLA. They kept the same offense installed as what they were running the previous year with Brett Hundley. Josh Rosen would go out there and run these option plays which were a joke because he would pitch the ball to the RB 99% of the time. It made me really sour on Jim Mora Jr as coach. The next year, they came to their senses and completely revamped the offense into a pro-style offense.

The funny thing, re: Marc Ross, is it seems there is just a lot of hate for the NYG. As such, he provides use for them. Even though he's a main reason why the franchise sucks, the glee he brings NFL fans about how sucky the Giants are is why he is on the air. If we start improving I bet he won't be on the air. I really hate Marc Ross.

It makes sense if you connect the dots. Before Kingsburry was hired by anyone last year at some point he said he'd take Murray #1.

He hadn't even interviewed for any jobs this was early.

Then he happens to take the head coaching job with the #1 overall pick.

And then Murray gives up baseball.

Sounds like Murray going #1 to me.

It’s amazing he sits there and analyzes teams when he failed miserably time and time again to construct his own. People make fun of casserly but that guy actually accomplished something. Ross is a buffoon.

Personally, I trade a 3 and 5 for Rosen. If not, stay put and pass on the QBs this year. Trade up next year to get one of tua, fromm or Herbert
