Wisconsin Pro Day and the Giants

Jay in Toronto : 3/15/2019 7:26 am
Hal Hunter was the coach who ran the OL through its drills and spent considerable time with Edwards (Source: The Athletic).

Before Zeitler I was hoping for one of the guards. Edwards is hard to judge cause of his injury history.

I hope we can pick up LB Andrew Van Ginkel late. He has a tremendous upside but less of a steady floor like TJ Edwards.

spent a ton of time with Michael Deiter as well.

Van Ginkel reminds me a lot of Clay Matthews. May just be the hair, but I think he's going to surprise some people. Wisconsin LBs have a really strong recent NFL track record (Borland, Schobert, Watt).
Giants need a tackle badly

No, Biadasz went back to school.
David Edwards had an up-and-down season, but

he has the tools to be a very good RT

And he was rated as a top-rated college center and has played a ton of games. I would assume he would pretty NFL ready when he is drafted in 2020

No, Biadasz went back to school.
I'd take any and all of them

Seriously. Those guys are tough and good.

Is seriously underrated right now. 2 maybe 3 of those guys will be good pros and I don’t think anyone is mocking any of them in round 1 or 2.

He has a nice upside as he is a former TE so he is still learning the position.
I haven't watched him a ton but Deiter seems a great fit in rd 2 or 3

played multiple positions, productive, etc. Seems like a Gettleman guy, though the most foreseeable path to playing time in the next few years is likely RT, so not sure that's his best long term projection. A lot of options should be available at both 37 & 95 though.

Has played multiple positions (including LT as need) but seen as an interior guy. Seen as the technician in the group and excelled in pass pro.
