A while ago I had a thread on this, and the resort was highly recommended by many here. I booked the hotel and will be staying there in a few weeks. Any recommendations on restaurants or anything else I should know? Thank you.
my wife and i loved it! we did go to the restaurants and them but what we really really liked was how good the room service was at the time.
Most days we just had room service on our balcony for breakfast and lunch.
I recommend taking a short taxi ride to tamarindo for some surfing and good restaurants. We also did a sunset snorkle cruise there which was memorable as well.
-Half a dozen restaurants and they are pretty decent. I made sure that I had reservations for the whole week that I was there, but you could probably get by w/o.
-We went through the Resort and did the jungle/zip-line/moutain water slide/horseback riding thing. Pretty good for a day trip.
-Sushi-making and tequila tasting were worth it.
-They'll stock your fridge with anything. I left a note asking for more beer and that's all they gave me during the week.
-Let them know if you're celebrating something. We were greeting w/chocolate covered strawberries and a bottle of champagne. Every restaurant we went to also sat us with a glass of champagne.
