Was just on the Kay Show. Loved the return the Giants in the Odell trade. Said they did very well.
Thought the Tate signing was an overpay
Still thinks Saquon was the right pick
Thinks the Giants will go quarterback this year and also thinks Murray will rightfully go #1 overall. Loves him.
Dan Graziano - bad trade
People say it must be true
Sal Pal - awesome trade
What does this guy know?
The point is neither opinion has a lot of merit because it came from beat guys, but people will use an opinion to push their own.
Care to cite some other experts? Maybe take a look at the ESPN article where 10 out of 10 analysts thought the Browns raped the Giants.
I know lots of BBIers rail about guys "not playing up to their contract" but again, that's how free agency works. You overpay to fill a spot. Hardly any free agent ever over-performs his contract and most underperform to some degree, because that's how it works.

the trade was universally considered awful. Now, I don’t think Sal Pals opinion matters much but it goes with my stance that many people that actually look at this thing big picture realize that the Giants did pretty good here considering the circumstances.

That’s the one I’m mocking. ESPN said it so it must be true. They said “I thought the giants would get more”. Hard hitting analysis right there. All of NY radio thinks the giants got more than they thought, go figure.

Those "10 analysts" were mostly nobodies.
Are we supposed to care what a "fantasy writer" thinks? Who the hell would link to that, thinking it meant anything?

You were the one who was saying raped of fleeced 10 seconds after the trade was made and before reading anyone's articles
ESPN is not even a sports network anymore. I would rather hear what the producers of the cartoon network have to say about the trade.
there's a difference between analysts and reporters.

then consider me convinced

The ball is rolling toward the right field fence.
If a bunch of guys on BBI who never worked in an NFL front office say it was a bad trade, consider me convinced.
