One of the reasons I think DG really wanted both Goldens (Tate and Markus) is to help with the culture change and leadership in locker room. When was the last time the Giants had a true leader on defense? Snacks, no. Vernon, no. Collins, no. Maybe not since Tuck retired? I can tell you from living in the Phoenix area, this is the one guy Cardinals fans and media did not want to lose. Coming off injury, he was just starting to hit his stride towards the end of the season. Even though he's only signed to a 1 year deal, it would not surprise me if he instantly becomes the leader on defense. If he shows that he's past the knee injury and gets the results on the field, he should be locked up longer term. This video gives you a little flavor of what we can expect.

I don't watch much NCAA, so I don't have a strong sense from anyone coming out off college. I do have to say, the more I see of Rosen, the more of a no brainer it seems to get this guy. IF he's available.
