Any guesses as to what the 49ers offer was?

Wondering if any Asshats would like to take a stab at this?

Glazer noted New York wanted San Francisco to include the No. 2 overall pick in this year’s draft in a trade package, but the 49ers were not interested in doing such.

Being that they were unwilling to include #2

I am assuming it was something centered around pick 36. Maybe 36, 67, and a player?
IDK. Maybe a first rounder NEXT year?

Or maybe they just offered their second rounder.
Probably their 2nd and 3rd this, and a 2nd next year.

If they weren’t interested in dealing #2, then I highly doubt a swap of 6 and 2 plus some more wasn’t in play. I doubt the Giants wouldn’t accept a package including their 1st next year, considering its likely to be in the top half of the round. That leaves me to believe that it was a combo of 2nds and 3rds.
Think we might have asked for their next years #1 and their

#2 and #3 this year. We want two #1s next year if we are going after a QB. If we are not going QB next then we would want #1 this year plus other picks or players.
The talk of SF sports radio

is that it was a given that they would and should give up the #2 pick for OBJ. The question was would they have to give up anything more. That being said SF sports radio is about as reliable as NY sports radio. We'll never know for sure. For all anybody knows, SF was offering the #2 pick, but DG wanted Peppers more than he wanted the #2. If you accept that DG doesn't like any of the QB's, the #2 is worth as much to the Giants as it would be in another year.
Meant to say

The #2 this year may not be worth as much the Giants as it would be in a year in which a stud QB was available.
Some heard the number 2, plus there 2nd rounder

Any they get number 6 and OBJ.

That is why it didn’t happen

Interesting. Unless I was in love with a Qb or thought there was a momental difference with a blue-chip defender at 2 (Bosa,Q.Will,Allen) vs. one at 6 (Montez Sweat,Devin White) I would still take the Cleveland offer over this one. I got a mid round first rounder, a former first rounder at a need position and better fit for Bettchers system than the departed Collins and a 3rd round pick.
