But he should have been traded in 2015. He had a good statistical year and likely still had value around the league. It should have been anticipated that he was reaching that critical point of diminishing returns.

Yeah except that little thing you know the no trade clause

Oddly, if he had retired during the bye in 2012, Eli would have been a strong first-ballot Hall of Fame candidate. The last 6 1/2 seasons have added very little to his legacy. Although he has climbed a lot of career stat lists, Eli’s arc since mid-2012 has been more Archie than Peyton.
Results on the field aside, the reality is that Mannings play until the NFL stops paying them. And that’s fine. It’s a business.
Trading Eli should have been Crazy Dave's first move. It was obvious to some of us that this team wasn't going to be competitive for at least 3 years. We could have used the extra money and draft picks to start the rebuild sooner.
A 56-10 win over Miami

I wonder how many times it has to be said here that Eli's contract has a no trade clause?
Then again, I guess it helps weed out the people that don't know what they are talking about.

Cmon, you have to at least give the poster credit for "Crazy Dave" !
Laced with wit and originality...
2016?
If you don’t believe Giants can win a Super Bowl before Eli is done, it makes little sense for him to be the quarterback this season.
Do you truly believe they can?
