Not arguing but wasn't Sweat good but not "that" productive in college?
And one of the knocks on Oliver is that he'd be too small for DE but Sweat isn't a DE- he's an OLB, isn't he? SO GMEN are still a bit "lacking" at DE and can get pushed around a bit without a DE selection, wouldn't they? As for Sweat I see him identified as both but he really isn;t he? He is Golden and Carter *but ofc better more than likely),isn;t he?
So was Sweat more productive that Oliver in college? Oliver was out of position in college and seems like he'd be a super fit plus wouldn't he be projected to be at least just as good as Sweat? What's the knock on Oliver vs Sweat?
Sweat was more productive than Oliver in college. Sweat posted 12 sacks last year and 10.5 the year before.
Both look good to me!!

SO they need someone more to "challenge" Carter more than "to challenge" McIntosh and Pierre?
And I'm not arguing here -- the questions above --
also what is Pierre's ceiling?
that's a pipe dream of mine as well.

I don't think McIntosh needs to be challenged, he needs to be healthy
I'm more concerned with Pierre's floor than with his ceiling.

which is kind of my implied point. There are more questions from Pierre and McIntosh than with Carter, isn;t there?
Wynn can play OLB in certain looks, crash interior and exterior me
Oliver looks like a player The Betch can use.
And no, you cannot say 'edge is more important', it's individual player.
The Aaron Donald's of the league are much more rare than a pure edge (especially more rare than those many who cannot hold the edge or dominate vs pro O tackles).
Only probably better in all aspects if his game?
May fit better here than in most teams in that way.
Team still needs another NT, but those can be had as well. Less rare.

Josh Allen.

Ditto. I'm not saying he's Von Miller, but potentially similar sort of player.
If this is the case I truly hate 3-4 defenses even more. I'd think you'd want and try hard to get BOTH an impact player on DL as well as LB.
