Beal and McIntosh would be huge add if they can be reliable starter/rotation. Who else do you hope to see take a jump from PS, IR, etc. to significant contributor? Evan Brown gets my vote for biggest potential impact. Other dark horses?
is Lorenzo Carter. I think he takes a big step forward this season and posts 8-9 sacks.
Players who could make the team and contribute are LB Ukeme Eligwe, S Sean Chandler, G Nick Gates, and C Evan Brown. I was hoping that the Giants were going to move on from Pulley and instead have Evan Brown, Gates, and a mid round pick battle for the backup guard and center jobs. Gettleman has proven that he will not keep a player due to their contract which means if Pulley is clearly beaten out for a backup spot he will be let go.
Giants will be picking high again in 2020, like top three to five. The Giants don’t have their QB of the future and contrary to popular belief they don’t have a great deal of draft capital. The WR corps is low end and the defense isn’t much better. It’s ugly.
2019 will be about finding out how many young core players there are on this team, which I believe is the OP’s point.
I don’t see the Giants being playoff-caliber until 2021 at the earliest. Feel free to @ me.
Hill and Carter are the next obvious as they both flashed but more is expected and needed especially Carter.
There are some not so obvious ones on offense though. Lattimer and Coleman have the opportunity for more snaps than they ever have had. They both flashed last year on O but not in the manner that you would expect 3-4 year veterans to do so. They both have some excuses as Lattimer were hurt and Coleman got here late.
I think Penny has room to grow and Engram needs to put it all together. He has played well in spurts but his hands remain unproven. Hopefully he doesn't prove them to be bad.

I'm also driving the Haley bandwagon as the slot CB. Thought he was very underrated last season and hopefully he continues to progress there.

Didn’t intend to limit choices to IR, PS. Just wanted to take my focus off FA and draft for a bit.

Really hoping for big things from Beal. If healthy, I think he'll be a big get for us.

I thought the same thing. Evan Brown? Based on what?
