Hey, Patti. Remember, click bait does not require accuracy, knowledge or accoutabiliy. It only requires one to continue to feed the frenzy.

Hey Paul, you're the biggest loser I've ever met. Have the sack to @ me or say it to my face at least. And yes, the fifth day of the league year was Sunday, which I confirmed with the league. And the contract reads the bonus gets paid first Wed. of league year. Big Ls!
Tom Rock does a good job imo and has a pretty funny twitter feed.
Sad.

eh, I like it when Rock goes on vacation and they get Neil Best (who is one of my favorite twitter follows of anyone when it comes to NY sports) away from his desk and back out there covering the team.

Dottino on WFAN is ridiculous. He's way oversensitive about all things Giants...to the point when he and Benigno have had words. Say what you want about Benigno, but he's typically more than fair when it comes to the Giants. But you say one little thing that P-Dot doesn't like and all of a sudden he's lashing out like a baby.

Art Stapleton deserves a mention too.
Agreed. A sad commentary when these 2 donkeys (Dottino and Raanan) sniping at each other aren’t even the biggest twats covering the team.
I have to say, I'm team Raanan. Even though he's a clown, he's not a sycophant like Paul...
Shalom, Jordan... (when he reads these comments)
Jordan actually has good knowledge and contacts. He does do his homework. But in the competitive world of sports journalism now, with several jobs disappearing, and working at ESPN, he's now in the belly of the beast. I hate to say it, but the Giants are very much a "boring" team. Gettleman has blown away the locker room lawyers (I wonder how many Josina reports we will see out of Giants camp. With Collins and Odell gone, her two biggest contacts went out the door.) . The next controversial thing Eli says will be the first. There isn't much sizzle on this Giants team and for click bait reporters, or working for organizations that demand click bait, the Giants are a hard sell. But Jordan also has always had a bit of an edge to him. How many reporters have been pushed by a Giants player over the years? Well, Jordan pulled the trick with Flowers. (I wish however, Flowers would have clocked him, win-win for all of us, Jordan gets a whack and Flowers would have gotten suspended, oh well...and yes, I"m joking).
Dottino is the homer. The cheerleader. His career is entwined with the Giants. He essentially writes for the School Paper. We know his role. He's is going to be a mouthpiece for the organization, go on the pre/post game shows. He's going to give interviews on WFAN where he will report what the Giants want him to report. He's been around the organization for 30 years.
I just wish we could go back to the Garafalo's of the world who reported on what was going on, and if he had his biases (and everyone does), he checked it at the door for the most part and reported. Journalism is a dying art, pretty much in all facets at this point, so why not sports too.
P Dot isn't great, but at least he's genuine.
Ranaan and Leonard are both hacks basically which sucks because they should be the main reporters we rely on for information.
I stick to national outlets for the most part, and news I pick up here.

Matt, I must admit you are one of the guys on this site who I actively seek out when they post. Good stuff here.

Sums it up very well
I agree that the Giants may become "boring" in the future, but that certainly hasn't been the case.
The same man who pushed for the trade...
I'm reading it as Josina leaking from her sources, therefore Landon and/or Odell. Correct? Problem now addressed?
It was caught and has been insinuated for some time. There is no surprise going back to the Collins/Apple feud that Josina was the first to "break" the goings on. Of course, it goes without mention that OBJ and her were BFFs.
Tiki was outed as a locker room leaker the second he was out the door.
He is a puppet totally incapable of any objective reporting on the Giants.
What was the beef they had with Snacks? Something about being the "Lockerroom Lawyer"? What does that mean exactly?
I have to say, I'm team Raanan. Even though he's a clown, he's not a sycophant like Paul...
Shalom, Jordan... (when he reads these comments)
He didn't subtweet Raanan, he never even mentions his name yet Raanan ran like a fly to shit all butt hurt

I love the Raanan-Dottino feud though. This is an on-going thing. They've gone at each other on twitter before. It always takes this shape too. Dottino subtweets Jordan and then Jordan takes a dump on Dottino.

Ran to that thread like a fly to shit

Jordan, but Dottino is the absolute worst. His interviews on WFAN are a slog to get through. He just rambles on and on with cringey analogies. He says "Tape" as much as Coach Mac did.

If you have the audacity to remind Dottino that he was so vocal about Webb being Eli's heir apparent, he'll block you on Twitter. Raanan might be a brat at times himself, but at least he has enough spine to defend his own takes, unlike Dottino.
IMO, Dottino is the worst of the Giants beat reporters, and that includes Pat Leonard.
But his interviews are useful if you realize he putting out the information the Giants organization wants out and take it from that perspective.
Most of the actual Giants beat writers are just trolls and shit stirers. Not all but most.
I'm team Paul here. Raanan needs to act like an adult.
Sad.
Where exactly have you been? Journalism has been dead for years.
Mike Garafolo was our last decent beat reporter

Look up subtweeting. That's what it means. He didn't have to mention his name, Patti was ostensibly correcting a Jordan report. It was implied to be a shot at Raanan.
Agreed. I like Paul.
What exactly does Dottino stand for? He's a shill.
