you begin to realize that our country is so ridiculous that the only way that entities and agendas can prevail is to dig for dirt on folks or competitors. They should offer that as a university course (lol). If you look across entertainment, sports, business, government that is the only shit folks are doing in that they just attempt to even scores or expose for some undefined agenda. The most egregious should not be ignored but very puzzling who and what are behind all of these exposures. Almost like camps settling scores or organized crime (I will take out one of yours for what you did to one of ours). In the Kraft case someone must have tipped off he was a frequent.
RE: remember when Bloomberg freked out over the Plaxico Â
I don't think the prosecutors, Kraft, the concerned parties, or the news people realized you had already forgotten about this and don't care. No clue why they didn't know.
Perhaps this thread should be deleted and all future discussion of this topic curtailed because some asshole on BBI doesn't care. mods? Please follow this guys desires, because it's all about Rocky.
The issue is not about some well known figure getting a rub and tug.
The issue is about human trafficking, illegal sex trade, money laundering behind the sex trade, and the victims within.
Some would add that the loss of taxable revenue from keeping prostitution an illegal trade is a secondary story as well.
America has such a prudish view point on sex. Add to that the almost tabloid coverage when a high profile person gets caught with their pants down.
Legalize it. Regulate it. Tax it. Add mandatory health and welfare for the works and their clientele.
Once legal and regulated, many of the issues will fade away. Other issues will arise, but at least the criminal acts occurring behind the scenes will change, and the victims will be less.
For some reason the human trafficking crimes don't get the attention the crimes deserve. Significant human trafficking from the West Coast and southern borders. Not small scale stuff, but rather large and well organized Transnational Criminal Organizations bringing in thousands and reaping millions from this trade.
Congress and Fed, State and Local LEO's know it. Major news not covering it.
Many people originally thought, "What's the big deal. It's just "sex" for money between consenting adults? They weren't aware that there was human trafficking involved.
If it had been an average Joe it wouldn't have gotten any coverage and many would not have known about this problem.
Is he above Community Service or something? Unsure what his case will be, didn't they say they have multiple videos of him there as well as statements from the ladies of the night who serviced him?
they wanted him to admit that he is guilty of the charges which would have resulted in a conviction if it went to trial. In addition to the community service he would have to undergo "sessions" as to why prostitution is not acceptable and undergo STD testing plus pay $10K in court costs.
On either side of the aisle, there’s people at the very height of power who nearly openly engaging in the really awful spoils of human trafficking. In this case, and again, you can find this in either political party, it’s not as simple as it may seem. The woman who owns the place (or owned the place I guess) is generally known to run a global sex slave business. It’s horrible. And yet no one seems to give a shit. And of course, the rich guy isn’t going to spend any time in jail. Can’t wait for the next moving half time tribute to Kraft’s dearly departed wife.
Even though I was pissed, I had a certain admiration for that.
Now why does Kraft get off so easy? (no pun intended) Because he's rich? What a farce!

2 tier justice system. Read the recent articles on DOJ ignoring HRC crimes. Same for 2008 scandal, everyone else goes to jail
Couldn’t resist.

If that is Kraft's crime, sorry for the invasion of the man's privacy.
If he had any specific knowledge of human trafficking in this case, and was therefore complicit, that is an entirely different matter.

I THINK you're saying that prostitution is "OK" as long as the payee is not forced. Is that correct?
Exactly

Its a big reason why prostitution is illegal, so yeah, doesn't seem like a stretch to me.
