2 linebackers, Devin White and Devin Bush, would that be so horrible? Obviously, it's a little out there, or a lot out there, but given we are running a 3-4 defense now, any possibility?
Happy if we ended up with both Devin’s, they are both plug and play LBs from day 1, Bush across from zo carter and white in the middle with Ogletree, instantly would transform our defense IMO. Both can blitz, cover and tackle, also drop into coverage in zone and are very very fast, both 3 down LBs wouldn’t ever have to take them off the field and can be interchangeable as well. Gimme, gimme gimme!!
I wrote about taking the two Devins the other day... Â
...and thought the two picks would work really well synergistically. And given the Giants jack shit recent history with this unit I listed the reasons for the two Devins:
(A) Upgrade in dramatic fashion a very poor LBer unit;
(B) Take away the gaping, yawning soft zones downfield;
(C) Provide adept one-on-one coverage against TEs and RBs
(D) Apply significant pressure from the LBer position.
no thanks
prefer a trade of two 3s (this year and next year if it requires that much) for Josh Rosen
then you go Rashan Gary, Andre Dilliard and Zach Allen with picks 6, 17, 37

We run a 4-3, LB's are your ER. You've heard of LT right?

still no QB, no RT, no ER

Most likely 1 LB or 1 Edge or 1 OT the odd one out gets addressed at #37
Or Oliver + Wilson
Etc
Just as "3/4 LB has more variety than just 'inside and outside'.
So your not really just repeating

We run a 3-4 not a 4-3.
Not too many LTs in this draft, are there?
Your ER are your OLB.
Your ER are your OLB.
