Does anyone have a rec?

I need to record one call. Price is not really an issue. Call could be upwards of an hour.

Appreciate any info.

Best research so far says TapeACall Pro but I’m not completely sold

Not sure what your plan is here but there are laws around recording phone calls. Most states require consent and the person needs to be informed the call is being recorded.

As is NJ. I think PA is a 2 party consent state.

In regard to the apps, I’m pretty sure that they all require a subscription and the recordings are stored on remote servers. .

The easiest way to record phone conversations is with a second device recording a speaker phone conversation.

I have used it a few times for school for phone interviews.

You call the person or they call you, open the app, and it calls you. You merge the calls and you are recoridng.

Afterwards you can have the calls transcribed for a few bucks.

You'll get the transcript in a like 2 to 4 hours depending on how long the call goes.
Use an

app like Zoom, WebEx, Go to Meeting, Skype, they all offer call recording, I think it does announce "this call is being recorded", but you might be able to remove that.

We use it for business purposes and post the recordings to a shared folder for other people looking for self-torture to listen to who couldn't make the call, but I'm sure you could use it for nefarious purposes too.
thanks guys appreciate the info
