It was excellent from the first episode so maybe it just isn't for you. That said I don't think 2 episodes is giving any show a fair shake.
Maybe I'll give it another shot. I thought the first episode was OK, but something about the second episode was just excruciatingly boring to me, and I was left with no desire to continue.
I'm usually pretty good about figuring out a show's style right away and whether it's my kind of thing, but maybe I'll try it again.

Season 2 was a bit of a letdown for me. And I really can’t stand the girl. Actually, I hate any Pre teen girl or boy in Hollywood that acts like a well rounded and well versed adult. Fuck off weirdo.

It's not for you. Millions others love it. I would say its more like an 80's movie that brings parts of Dungeons and Dragons to life.
