Just an FYI. If anyone is watching and could provide updates that would be awesome!!!

Guy has thrown 100 balls in a row and isn't in good shape
Zeke's Alibi : 3/20/2019 1:59 pm : link
Big Ben would be having a Big Mac Break right now.
They have said he has issues with the fade
The 12th Man : 3/20/2019 2:00 pm : link
He just missed one horribly. His throws to the end zone are where only his receivers can get them or no one else. Have to admit I was impressed.
I gotta BW in DC
nzyme : 3/20/2019 2:00 pm : link
How do you have the QBs ranked in order that you want for the NY Giants?
He looked great
Peter from NH (formerly CT) : 3/20/2019 2:00 pm : link
great arm and anticipation.

arcarsenal : 3/20/2019 2:00 pm : link
Lol, bw going for any angle he can get here...

Now it's that Haskins is gassed.

Gee, I don't know - perhaps he's sweating from throwing about 100 footballs in 20 minutes.

The dramatics!
Big Haskins fan
Fast Eddie : 3/20/2019 2:00 pm : link
But sure looks like he needs more cardio. His gassness hasnít affected his passing though. Kid can make every throw
I am not a Haskins guy
dep026 : 3/20/2019 2:01 pm : link
but I figure he would kill this part of the workout. I didnt watch one throw but it seems like he did well.

Footwork is what can separate a top 5 pick from a 3rd round guy. Thats something we may just never know until he gets on the field.
I mean even the guy on NFL network was like if you want to nitpick
Zeke's Alibi : 3/20/2019 2:01 pm : link
he is getting gassed.

LMAO

I give you credit for commitment

Friend of mine just texted me and said - b/c I have the sound off - that Jeremiah noticed how much Haskins is sweating vs how Murray looked in his workout.

I'm not saying he looks like he needs oxygen, but he was pretty tired with hands on his hips...

Wait a minute, you have friends?
With how DG wants to build this football team it wouldn't suprise me

if Haskins is the pick if Shurmur gives his blessing.

Like an NFL QB. Arm talent and head talent will take you places and he has plenty of both. The more I see the more I like. Up close he looks much quicker footwork wise and overall in the pocket.
I have..

I thought you were going to nitpick that he was hitting guys too flush in the hands so they weren't able to quickly pump their arms to get up to speed after the catch....
I still
Eric from BBI : Admin : 3/20/2019 2:06 pm : link
remember the panic after Eli Manning's first mini-camp when his first pass was nowhere near his target. If I recall correctly, his first practice was a disaster.

I only bring this up in that I can't imagine the type of pressure are on these guys at their Pro Day workouts. Everything is noticed.

Personally, I thought he did very well from what I saw (again, I didn't see every snap...sometimes the camera lost track of the ball).

Eric from BBI : Admin : 3/20/2019 2:08 pm : link
When the Giants drafted Eli, they sent EVERYONE to watch him before the draft.

I may be dead wrong, but I'm getting deja vu over this.
Let me say this about arc...
bw in dc : 3/20/2019 2:08 pm : link
If he was Teddy Bridgewater fan he would have said Bridgewater's workout - one of the worst I have ever seen - was terrific... ;)

Watching him and Kyler Murray do interviews is like night and day.
Zeke's Alibi : 3/20/2019 2:09 pm : link
Guy shows intellect and is clearly a leader. Would love to know how he did on Wonderlic or the new one the AIQ.
He admitted he was heavier than his ideal weight

at the combine. Wants to play a 222 versus his combine weight.

Not to defend arc here, but he has been very adamant that he is not a Haskins guy. Who would have thunk that, someone with an unbiased opinion.

Didn't they send everyone to watch Rosen last year?

They did.
Watching this talk...
nzyme : 3/20/2019 2:11 pm : link
He can be the face of a franchise. Whoever picks him will not have to worry about this kid!
To me..
FatMan in Charlotte : 3/20/2019 2:11 pm : link
the biggest red flag about Haskins is his lack of games as a starter.

But he's about the only QB I'd want to draft this year (outside of a 4th round developmental guy)
'looks gassed'
giants#1 : 3/20/2019 2:11 pm : link
Well if he is the pick, then that explains why they're keeping Eli, since he'll have a year of backup duty to work on his conditioning!

Thinking the same thing. Murray is very unimpressive with a mic in front of him.
Sounds humble he interviews very well
GFAN52 : 3/20/2019 2:12 pm : link
.
This is the guy - I am more excited than I've been in a while Giants.
Zeke's Alibi : 3/20/2019 2:13 pm : link
Talking about how he wants to show how smart he is, how charismatic he is, the leader he can be. The guy just has the it factor you look for in QB similar to Mayfield. Arm talent plus gets it mentally.

Honestly I wanted a more mobile QB because that is where the game is moving. However, if you can be extremely accurate in the short, intermediate game there is definitely a spot for pocket passers in the NFL.
A handshake and a hug from Schurmur ...
Spider56 : 3/20/2019 2:13 pm : link
I hope PS whispered that he needs to get his butt in better shape.
I defer the throwing critique to the experts, but he came across very well in the NFLN interview. Well spoken and he seems to have his head on straight. A year with Eli and he could be ok... but stay away from the donuts.

Haskins is basically throwing the standard route tree right now.

Obviously no pressure and his receivers are running free - like a typical OSU game last year... ;)

I don't know bw... I'm watching this and I can very easily see him in blue... but of course, I'm being told to say that.

Look, your role has morphed into a mouthpiece for Jints Central. I get it - you have a business to run and can't bite the hand that feeds you... ;)

Seriously, some of these catches by these OSU receivers are spectacular...
FMiC is right about BW. Holy shit, he is such a tool.

Nice day for @OhioStateFB QB Dwayne Haskins at his Pro Day. Big arm as expected, good footwork/movement in/out of pocket, too @NFLDraft

Yeah - I could see a tendency there to morph into Byron Leftwich on the Donut Express!!
Who throws a better ball, Haskins or Rosen?
GFAN52 : 3/20/2019 2:15 pm : link
I can't decide, they both seem comparable to me.
As far as intangibles
Kyle in NY : 3/20/2019 2:16 pm : link
he checks all the boxes. Can say with first hand experience he's a smart kid, works hard, leader type, absolutely fits the bill of a franchise QB in that regard

Could certainly nitpick things on the field. Of course he had a lot of talent around him, he's a solid but not elite athlete, and he is inexperienced. He's not a perfect prospect. But he has a lot of arm talent to work with and the mental game is top notch.
"well spoken" smh

Rosen has a better stroke mechanically. But they both throw very catchable balls.
Haskins at 6
Chris684 : 3/20/2019 2:17 pm : link
followed by a defensive draft the rest of the way would be too perfect.

Hopefully he sees Eli scarfing down potato chips during meetings
Zeke's Alibi : 3/20/2019 2:18 pm : link
and realizes he wants to play into his 40s and cuts that out. In all seriousness though he defnietly cut some flub since the combine.
impressive
Peter from NH (formerly CT) : 3/20/2019 2:18 pm : link
kid at all levels. Could easily see him being the next face of the Giants.

arcarsenal : 3/20/2019 2:19 pm : link
Loves? No - but he's my favorite QB in this class, and the guy I think is the best bet. Doesn't mean I would move up to 1 for him or empty out my draft capital when I know there will be a tremendous defensive player available.

The Bridgewater stuff is just total nonsense.

bw wants Ryan Finley.. a guy who is destined to be holding a clipboard for as long as he's in the league or would prefer we trade for Jeff Driskel so he can do the same thing.

Really swinging for the fences with guys like those...
I watched both
Amtoft : 3/20/2019 2:19 pm : link
Murrays and Haskins pro days... Murray was sweating also so that is normal. He did look a little more tired with his hands on his hips, but it didn't affect him at all. Feet good, hips good, movement good, etc He threw great and unlike Murray he was making throws on the run, rolling out more, etc. Probably because Murray doesn't need to show that. I will say this in watching both QBs even though I would take Murray, Haskins is a much better thrower. His deeps balls were by far better imo.
