They’re the dopiest duo ever to have traveled to the past and the future, heaven and hell. And now, after an absence of nearly 30 years, Bill S. Preston, Esq. and Ted (Theodore) Logan are going back to the movies.
A third film in the “Bill & Ted” comedy series, to be called “Bill & Ted Face the Music” and starring Alex Winter and Keanu Reeves as the title characters, will go into production this summer and is planned for a summer 2020 release.
The production and release details were announced on Wednesday by Hammerstone Studios, which is producing the film, as well as Reeves and Winter themselves:

Bill really had a great career since these movies came out.
too bad Carlin is dead.
My thoughts as well. The first two films kind of worked because they were these dopey HS students, what could the story line be now?

"Yet to fulfill their rock ’n’ roll destiny, the now middle-aged best friends set out on a new adventure, when a visitor from the future warns them that only their song can save life as we know it and bring harmony to the universe. Along the way, they will be helped by their families, old friends and a few music legends.

remember when we were freshmen and she was a senior?
Ted: Your stepmom's cute.
Bill: Shut up, Ted.

Or hot stepsisters for Bill. If they existed, they'd be in their 20s now.

He's not the best actor IMO, but he makes entertaining movies and he just might be the best person in Hollywood (from what us regular people know). Easy guy to root for.
This will be the Fury Road of the Bill and Ted franchise!
He’s underrated, and a subtle actor. Those shitting on him love to dismiss him and say he can’t act, but he tends to dominate the screen. John Wick is one of my favorite characters of his. I think he’s aging well much like his movies.
IMO he's exactly the same guy in almost every movie and it's basically SoCal surfer dude, starting will B&T of course. One of those who can just be himself in his roles. Point Break is obvious, Speed, Matrix fits too, even Devils Advocate - a mediocre accented southern lawyer who seems a former CA surfer dude. Still have to catch newer ones tho
Jokingly I say he's a much better, higher profile Joey Lawrence. He even says "whoa" a lot. That last part makes it sounds like I hate him, but the movies I've seen are great entertainment, if not epic like the Matrix. Can't argue with that
Why would you be ashamed? It may be dated, but the first movie was hilarious.
Even the second had some inspired bits, but those stupid aliens added a pretty insurmountable cheese factor.
