Apparently, power is a big part of Newsome's game. NFL Network draft analyst Lance Zierlein wrote in his scouting report of the 23-year-old booter, "Newsome is a power-based punter with the ability to put together a big game like he had at Vanderbilt, where he had three punts of 60-plus yards
But, apparently he isn't consistent striking the ball.
He was inconsistent last season, but had a decent career Â
and is it me or is he completely lifting his ass off the bench? Good way to injure yourself.
Nah, reps seemed OK to me from that angle. He was using leg drive, this isn't a bodybuilder technique but more of a powerlifter/strength training technique.
Not sure about the bouncing, but if he truly did bounce them, his sternum will tell him about it tomorrow. I know this first hand.
Do it Jerry!

Has everyone just blocked that situation from memory?
I think Dodge was somewhere in the 20s on Bench reps...
would definitely be useful on a team with horrible punt coverage (remember our punt specials) and he needs to tackle somebody. lol

Our special teams use to suck. It doesn't anymore.
