Giants racking up the frequent flier miles:
Pat Shurmur at West Virginia Pro Day today to see QB Will Grier
Offensive coordinator MIke Shula in Missouri today to see QB Drew Lock.
Leave no stone (or QB) un-turned.
Some draftniks really like him.
You have to believe the Giants are playing chicken with the Cardinals (about Rosen) and with the 49ers, Jets and Raiders about Haskins (in terms of trading Jets and 49ers or taking him Raiders).

May be a surprise.

I wouldn't call myself a draftnik, but I like Grier. He's accurate, can get rid of the ball quickly and, according to Our Lads, led all qb's at the combine in velocity.
if someone trades up for him their backup plan is either:
1. Trade for Rosen
or
2. draft one of these guys in the 2nd if they compare to Rosen and keep their picks.

I don’t agree. If they think he is their guy they need to do whatever it takes to get him.
@AdamSchefter
One NFL scout in Morgantown, W.V., just texted that QB Will Grier “put on a show” for NFL Teams in attendance and predicted he’s “a riser.” The WVU QB is expected to meet with at least 10 teams before the draft, including the Giants, Redskins, Chargers, Pats and Saints.
What? He wanted to be around the team but McElwain made him an outcast. He pushed him out because he wasn't his guy. In fact there are articles that have come out from assistants saying they wanted to stick with him after the suspension but Jim wanted to win his way.
Arm talent? Yeah not in the same class as the other 3.
c) maybe they'd rather scout these guys themselves rather than rely on BBI.
