.......interesting. They're thinking one last run before they need to break the bank for Wentz............
You know, you raise an interesting point. If this really is the thinking "we have one last run, and then we have to sign Wentz and it's over", then why sign Wentz?
I think once one time is brave enough to not give their okay-but-not-quite QB the team crippling 2nd contract it'll have a domino effect.

The only QBs you should sign in this league to a second contract are the ones that you know you can win with despite the loss of cap room (Rodgers, Big Ben, Brady, etc). There are not many of those qbs around. Maybe Wentz is one of them, but I am not convinced yet.

I am not convinced yet either....this is a big year for Wentz.
Does the injury effect him going forward, or will he be entirely 100%?
And can he carry a team? The SB team was lights in as far as rushing production and were one of the best OLs. Plus, their scheme was still sorta new.

The Skins didnt re-sign Cousins, but I dont know enough about how that went down to classify it as letting him go because he wanted too much
Vinny Curry signed a 1 year, $2,250,000 contract with the Philadelphia Eagles, including an average annual salary of $2,250,000. In 2019, Curry will earn, while carrying a cap hit of
I didn't want him, but at that contract, well i would have been happy. Link - ( New Window )
They have a ton of near or above 30 players. But they pick the right ones because they get production out of those guys

Vinny Curry wanted to return to the Eagles. Giants offered more.
Giants were interested, made an offer and he went back to the Eagles?
Or did it happen with Brandon Graham?
