Dead Sara - Chick singer punk / grunge. Janis Joplin-esque vox. They also cover Heart Shaped Box straight ahead (its aight). I haven't listened a ton and found some variety (one song was very electronica). But they have some rocking songs. I liked Lemon Scent as well The Weatherman
Been listening to Cayetana a lot lately, they’re from Philly I think. Also, The Courtneys, from the West coast pretty sure. Really like these two bands. Broken Social Scene, Susto and Joan Shelly are all in my heavy rotation too. We could probably make an open playlist on Spotify. ?
Also I'm sure I posted this b4, but kinda recalled Black Joe Lewis & The Honeybears from those. I haven't loved his newest, but earlier was James Brown-ish, funky, blues, horns. That I do love!
