What a terrific production. As poorly done as the movie was done in searching for the truth, this BBC podcast has been nothing short of an exercise in fair and balanced reporting about trying to find out answers about what really happened. It airs every Sunday and it’s getting close to the end; I will not spoil it for others because I highly recommend it, especially for people who like Serial, etc etc.
In somewhat related vein--prosecutorial misconduct--have you followed at all the Epstein scandal, mega wealthy FL businessman, well connected to pols of both parties, effectively operated a *very* underage sex abuse/exploitation scheme by which he personally, sexually profited, maybe 50 or more young teens. He was 'prosecuted' by now Labor Sect'y Acosta in FL, with a non-prosecution agreement where, after pleading guilty to two counts of availing of prostitution with a 16-year old (older than most of the abused girls and which permitted him NOT to register as a child sex molester in > half states), prohibited further prosecution of Epstein and various colleagues who apparently engaged with these girls, and, in violation of Federal law, did not notify the victims of the non-prosecution deal. He served some months in a half-way house where he was able to spend his time in his office. That was it.
Ugly, ugly scandal, and sorry to miller.
There's at least a couple versions of the song, this is the one I've known. Great freaking story telling songwriter
