I think the number of universities that would allow their players to go to Chick-Fil-A is pretty small. Although I've heard the feelings about it have mellowed some.
went to take Jamarcus Russell out to eat, he chose this little hole in the wall place near LSU campus called Raul's Megaburger. They serve double hamburger's the size of your head there. So, yea, I mean, signs and portents everywhere.
Used to bring free agents to Smith and Wolensky, but I’m not sure if that’s changed.
Pricey by good food.
All steakhouses, especially in New York, are expensive. Some are worth the money (Sparks, Peter Luger's) and others are not, Smith & Wolensky being one of them, IMO.

Honestly I know for sure the giants have taken FA players or draftees out to mignon in Rutherford. Probably Steve’s steakhouse too if I had to bet, but mignon is quieter.

It was a marketing gimmick to highlight that IHOP had hamburgers. They were never going to change the name.
