blew that game by keeping Tacko on the floor late. He was totally out of gas. He couldn't move and he is an average rebounder to begin with. Add in his free throw problems and he needs to be out of the game. Challenging Zion up 3 with 15 seconds to go is mind numbing.

That decision and the decision to throw an alley oop when a simple bounce pass works just fine is what cost them the game.

I haven't listened to any of the postgame on this, but this seems to be the issue. Down three with 15 seconds left, every player but the UCF center were playing at the 3-point line. Him being in there made no sense.
Oregon went eight minutes without scoring on mighty UCI

And their AdjD of 66. They are going to struggle mightily to score on us.

Some of the AdjO rankings of their recent opponents:

UCI 118, Wisconsin 59, Washington 112, Utah 23, Washington State 140, ASU 76, Arizona 155.

So that's everyone they've played during their winning streak. One decent offense which belongs to an overall garbage team.
Also, from watching last night's game

A good bit of Oregon's offense is in transition. They really looked pretty bad in Harcourt. Gonna be a whole lot harder to pile up a bunch of fast break alleyoops on UVA.
I'm not as concerned about Oregon's offense

but their defense has been phenomenal over the last month, regardless of the competition. Their match-up zone with 3 guys at 6'9 and perhaps the best shot-blocker in basketball has been great.
