Best hands in the draft?

CT Charlie : 3/26/2019 11:06 am
For those who invest a lot of time evaluating WR's, who are some of the guys who have the best hands in this year's draft?

I hate it when fans drool over combine warriors who can jump high, run a quick 40, or have 0% body fat, when all I want is a receiver who runs to the right place, on time, and CATCHES the ball when it comes to him. I also like effort on downfield blocking, but that's another question.
of the top players

Nkeal Harry, AJ Brown and Hollywood Brown to me are the best. In the entire draft though maybe Hunter Renfrow.
I'd say AJ Brown or N'Keal Harry

But I REALLLLLLY like Antoine Wesley's.
Hard to tell...

Disagree. He makes some spectacular catches, but he also drops some REALLY easy ones. I mean really catchable balls. I like

*I like him, but one thing he does need to improve is his hands
Kelvin Harmon, NC State

Also, Stanley Morgan, Jr. from Nebraska I believe is underrated and would be mentioned more if not playing on such a bad Nebraska team. He has big hands for his size, knows when to sit down in zone and a strong route runner despite subpar speed. He'll make his living converting 3rd downs.

Agreed. There's a lot to like about Butler but concentration drops led to him having one of the highest drop rates if not the highest among receivers in this class.

Kid just absorbs the ball.

He does not have good hands... where do you get this.
Drops were there

You guys are right. But he makes some absolutely amazing catches. Hoping that facet improves in the NFL.

Best hands in terms of consistency?...he is not that guy.
His hands are not good

at all... you need to stop watching highlights. Everyone can make good highlights. He is Breshad Perriman.
I agree

You could argue the drops aren't necessarily to the point of having 'bad hands' and something that can be improved upon. Cruz struggled with concentration drops and was a pretty darn good one despite that.
Hunter Renfrow

Not an elite athlete but made plenty of big catches in college, very reliable as well as able to stretch out and make the tough catches, and can scoop them off the turf with the best of them.
Loved our very own Steve Smith.....
Simms11 : 3/26/2019 2:39 pm : link
a guy that could get open on 3rd down catch the ball and get you what amounted to an automatic 1st down. That's the kind of guy I'd love to see drafted, be it Renfrow or some other.
I don't know who would be the best
JFIB : 3/26/2019 3:24 pm : link
I just hope there is someone at #17 who can be our new #1.

I like Harmon, too. Was down on his speed, but he's going to move the chains in the NFL...
