Wilkins is a good player. A hard worker and a dude we could get at 17 most likely. He is a "safe player." I dont see him as the difference maker we need. Take Wilkins at 6 it better be Burms or Bush at 17.
Im also not a fan of Rosen, but could tolerate getting him for a 2nd.
should do better than Wilkins. OK with Ford but would prefer defense. Not big on Rosen either. Sounds like Washington has lost interest along with the rest of the league in Rosen.
RE: RE: Switch out Ford for Dillard and you’d have a hard time Â
But that seems high for Wilkins. Just about every mock/scout site I've seen still has about a dozen guys ranked ahead of him and that's not counting QBs or D.K.Metcalf
be fine with that draft, although I think #6 is a little high for Wilkins. I'd also like to take another defensive player at #17. No problem trading #37 for Rosen.
I wouldn’t be surprised to find out years from now that there was Â
already a deal in place with Rosen for whatever team he goes to well before the draft and that the NFL told them to keep it quiet until the first day of the draft to keep “suspense” for the number one pick and the subsequent trade of Rosen.
Since Goodell took over the league is obsessed with cash. I mean my god, they even took cash from EA Sports year’s ago and gave them an exclusive license to be the only video game franchise for the NFL. And at that time 2K Sports was way better than Madden.

I don’t buy that. The team trading for Rosen will want him as early as possible.

Depends on who that team is. If he ends up here he will back up Eli for at least part of the season. Same deal if it was the Chargers or Steelers. If it’s New England he is absolutely sitting for the season.
You guys are fine with reaching for Christian Wilkins and then taking a guard at 17 when they just traded for Zietler? I know ford played tackle this year but he’s a guard in the NFL. And then people wonder why we suck every year. Also when does this team and fan place plan to get a QB? Every year it’s a new excuse why they can’t. Eli has years left he’s not the problem or next years class is better. Draft a Quarterback. Murray. Haskins Lock one of them will be there when the giants pick at 6 or 17 lock more likely at 17

Of course not every excuse to not have a new QB and put Eli’s old corpse out there 10 more years . Let’s not draft or take a chance on a QB that was a first round pick last year on the worst team and offensive line in the nfl. It’s amazing how everyone is down on Rosen because of the season he had last year. Peyton Manning went 3-13 with 28 interceptions his rookie year I bet people on BBI back in 1999 would not of traded for him if he was on the block.
Arizona trades down twice.
Ends up getting after both trade downs:
-The 10th pick
-The 39th pick
-The 41st pick
-Gerald McCoy
-AND STILL GET KYLER MURRAY WITH THE 10TH PICK!!!!
Buccs give up far too little to move into the #1 spot for Quinnen Williams
Drew Lock ends up the 1st QB taken by the Redskins at their 8th spot.
Denver traded up for Cardinals 5th spot (that they got from their first trade with the Buccs) for Devin White (not a QB).

Lock isn't going to be there at 17.
Murray is going 1st overall. Should they just draft a QB just to say they drafted a QB? The value isn't going to be there at 6. That's quite clear. Forcing the pick is how you end up with Jake Locker, Christian Ponder or EJ Manuel.

Not that I agree, but don't base where players go based on other mocks, unless it's Mike Mayock...
He's not a play-it-safe guy. He has old-school ideas about what a football team should look like, but within that framework, he wants great players. That may seem obvious (Doesn't everyone?) but it means he will go for the "gold jacket" guys. Hence Barkley when RBs are devalued. He wants the Giants to run the ball and he saw a generational talent.
Enough to comment on the other two.
Dillard went one pick before Ford
Im also not a fan of Rosen, but could tolerate getting him for a 2nd.
Here’s a link, they posted it on Twitter. The trades are a little insane at the top, no way Murray would slip to 10.

This is just a very bad mock draft.

If they drafted Ford it would be to play RT.

So which player will dangle greatness at #6?
