NFT: Chris Davis got a hit!!!!!!

dep026 : 4/13/2019 2:18 pm
Why he didnít retire after breaking his 0-54 streak, one will never know. Definitely in the running for worst contract ever.
Would you retire with a guaranteed contract?

If I were Davis Iíd say Iíll be happy to go away tomorrow just mail me a check for the outstanding amount in my deal. Otherwise Iíll go strike out a couple hundred times what do I care?

just release him? I know they have to pay him anyway but he is a negative WAR player.

If he gets hurts they can at least get some insurance money back for him. That is why they are probably hoping for.

Ok I was on the fence if he was good .... but if he's negative WAR then I'm sold
he is owed some 90mm

he isn't being released.
Not a good player
bigbluehoya : 4/14/2019 7:49 am : link
But I give him a lot of credit for the way heís carried himself. Many players wouldnít be able to hold the high road in the face of so much negative attention.

I agree with hoya...

That wasn't easy for him to deal with, I'm sure - but he stood there and stood tall and took the heat every day and answered the questions. It was a story every day until it wasn't.

It's not his fault he was offered that contract and signed it.

Even better?

He broke through against Boston... and not only did he just get one hit, he got 3. And the Os won the game.

Bonus points.
