until opposing coaches find a solution. That was true of Buddy Ryan's defense of the 1985 Bears, too. There's a reason that scheme didn't continue to dominate offenses. There's a response to every scheme.
There isn't necessarily a response to truly great players. The H-back was invented as a response to Lawrence Taylor. Didn't stop him. Probably stopped some lesser pass-rushing OLBs, though.
If Murray turns out to be a truly great player, he'll make his coach look like a genius.

Don't forget Nick Sabin who washed out after two mediocre years in Miami and went back to running one of the most impressive college football programs ever
“Split second decision”, “controlled aggression”, lots of other platitudes, sure.
But mostly I saw talent mismatches and blown coverages which just don’t present themselves as frequently in the NFL. What is it again that makes this offense unique? I predict the NFL is more than ready for Kliff and his Air Raid.
7 collegiate teams last season were ready for his offense Â
that HBO Real Sports did a segment on who never punted? Had all these statistics to back up his reasoning and his teams were outscoring most of the opposition buy a lot.
It's been awhile since it aired so maybe he has crashed and burned since then.

Was it, I couldn't remember. It was an interesting piece. I wonder if he ever got a shot at college?

That was a high school coach.
Oops sorry must have hit something wrong with quote feature Â

who was the coach that always punted? Dan Reeves in the mid 90s.

I remember he still did those 3rd down quick kicks
If the Big 12 could handle it, then the NFL should have no problem Â
and responsive changes from defenses. And maybe the Air Raid will eventually have some longer term impact as many other “new” schemes have, but the more likely outcome is it has some short term impact and then fades like every other unstoppable innovation like the run and shoot, the wildcat and whatever it was Chip Kelly tried to do.
RE: If the Big 12 could handle it, then the NFL should have no problem Â
Kingsbury will be the biggest bust in NFL coaching in a long time, maybe ever.
The thing is, Texas Tech is like a middle of the pack team in the Big 12 and they don’t spend nearly enough money to get the talent that Texas and or Oaklahoma get.
It will be interesting to see how he does in the NFL, where the talent playing field is leveled out.
That's what fascinated me the most...the idea that Arizona will pass on Murray and keep Rosen because Rosen is just as capable of running KK's offense as Murray is (albeit he's not the running threat that Murray is).

Except AZ isn’t exactly loaded. Never mind a whole new scheme? Maybe Murray is the real deal and this offense can do some things. I don't think jes he’s some visionary offensive mastermind. We will see one way or the other

And if AZ drafts Murray, then the video is full of it, since it would be at odds with Kingsbury himself.
Cardinals draft Murray and package Rosen and Johnson for Â

Not really. Murray already know the offense and concepts, and it will be much easier for him to come in and be successful.
After watching it, I felt like sticking with Eli is a mistake. We can't beat Cover 2 because we can't take deep shots. The importance of that was drilled into that video, and Shurmur takes spread concepts and puts them into our offense.

There is a chart of field position and distance that says whether it makes sense to punt or go for it based on analytics. I think the NY Times published it. No one in the NFL uses it because the thinking is too unconventional. That'll probably change over time.
The one guy who seems to be willing to challenge the conventional wisdom on punting is Bill Belichick, and even he has taken a lot of flack for trying things that didn't work.
RE: RE: RE: Not one comment about Murray and Rosen vis-a-vis the draft? Â

Isn't throwing deep more a function of thte time the OL gives the QB? Eli has been beating Cover 2 his whole career because of this arm strength.

Great analysis.
Or Steve Spurrier.
At least those two actually won in college.

The easiest way to stop any offense is to Kill the QB.

But they will have cell phone breaks so then players can post on Instagram. another thing the NFL isnt ready for
