Sounds like a blast. Saw quite a few of those bands way back in the day. ELO without Jeff Lynne, though...that's like the Giants without LT.
One of my most vivid memories of 6th grade was Debra Harry and Blondie They exploded at that time. They had their hands in all the genres intersecting at the time from rock to disco to punk to techno to rap.
without LT would have still been pretty darned good. The Orchestra was very good. You were hardly aware that Lynne wasn't a part of it.
Seen ELO Part II, and The Orchestra....as said, they were very very good. Saw Jeff Lynnes new incarnation of ELO last summer in Philly from the front row dead center. That was incredible. I'm going to see Lynne again in July and The Orchestra again this fall in Annapolis
