He earned it. First major he's won that he didn't lead going into last round. He had a spell on the front where he was hitting his drives into the trees, but on most of them he didn't really get punished. He avoided the costly mistakes that the other guys made on the back.

I rarely pulled for Tiger, even when he was in his prime, but watching him today started to bring back memories of Nicklaus winning when I thought he was ancient.
As the field hit about hole 7, I started hoping tiger would win. Why? Couldn't really tell you. When I don't have a dog in the fight, sometimes I just want to be entertained.

If I had to pick, I'm always pulling for Rickie Fowler to win. Just seems like a good dude from what I've read.
but I've liked Tiger since his broke on to the scene in the mid-90's. I also like Phil though, so maybe I'm just not hard core enough fan to only pick one or the other. Not sure if liking those two is akin to liking the Yankees and Red Sox, but whatever. I am in awe after shooting a 105 on a wide open course last week (River Ridge near Mohegan Sun in CT) abd watch the precision with which these golfers can consistently generate.
Even for people who don't like Tiger's personality or off-field behaviors, it's hard for me to understand those who root for him to lose.
I just wish he (and the other American golfers) would be better in the Ryder Cup.
I know the Masters is the crown jewel of golf, but for my money as a fan, I think going to Whistling Straits for the Ryder Cup in 2020 would be more fun.

So of course I went on a nice two hour stroll around the lake, saw deer and a regal red shouldered hawk... Overcast without threat of rain, just about 70°F, very pleased day for a walk.
But coming in just in time to watch Tiger don the green jacket, for the fifth time, I was pretty jazzed for him.
As someone said, he's worked long and hard for this comeback, and he's played well enough to win a major again, but you never know when the opportunity will arise...
