Giants offseason program starts tomorrow morning

YANKEE28 : 4/14/2019 8:25 am
Let's hope that the Giants 2019 season is off to the right start with 100% participation by all signed players.

Through trades and signings, the Giants have a good percentage of new personalities. Time to build the locker room.

I attached a pretty good article with 11 things to think about as the Giants 2019 season officially begins.

I'm a little disappointed

that Evan Brown wasn't mentioned in the C discussion. He is my one surprise dark horse pick this training camp.

I think Dave-Te' Thomas said something about being surprised the Giants didn't go with Brown instead of Pulley when Halapio went down. He was much higher on Brown than he was on Pulley.

It's a shame that Halapio got injured so early. Never got the chance to see if he would improve as the season progressed.

I hope the Giants address the interior OL at some point in the draft. I like Hernandez and Zeitler, but the depth behind them is pretty weak, and Center is still a huge question mark to me.
Brown has been a big mystery

they kept him on the roster all season, so they must like him, right?

He showed well last pre-season, albeit against 2nd and 3rd stringers, but he looked the part and the staff likes him. I’m hoping he leap frogs Pulley in the grand scheme of things, but highly unlikely because of experience.
Pulley is essentially on a one year deal.

There's no dead money after 19. To say he's part of their long term plans is quite a stretch. They probably thought that Brown wasn't ready for prime time in 18.
Center is really wide open. May the best man win.
