are about to lose another series at home to a bad team. 3-6 against three of the worst teams in the American League Baltimore. Detroit and now the Sox. Inexcusable!!!!!

Well considering more than half of their starting lineup is on the IR, I think it's understandable they're struggling. If this team was whole, I'd agree it's inexcusable, and yes I know injuries are part of the game and you need depth.
It's just they're playing guys who wouldn't normally even sniff the field, and we can't expect them to be anywhere as good as the guys they're replacing.
Instead of booing Shurmur they should start with Boone.
Boone??? Boone does what he is told. Boo the guy telling him what to do.
Same thing. Booing Boone is booing Cashman. Not a fan of Boone. Not a bad guy, but I just don't think he is a good manager or ever will be. And the binder doesn't always work. People play the game.
At least Green looked better today. More up/down and inside/outside placement plus offspeed pitches.
Blaming Boone for anything is essentially pointless. What's he really responsible for? So many lineup decisions and roster moves are coming from above him. He was without his starting CF, ace SP, starting SS, and 8th inning stud reliever before we even took the field on opening day.
Since then, he's lost Andujar, Stanton, Sanchez, and Tulo.
The Yanks had good depth going into the year, and we were set up nicely to withstand some hits here and there... but no one can withstand this and keep winning games on a regular basis.
Even Florial broke his wrist during ST.
You could literally take a team of Severino, Didi, Stanton, Hicks, Andujar, Betances, Sanchez, etc., and just fill in the gaps with a bunch of league average players, and they'd probably be one of the better teams in baseball.
Just crazy and almost hard to believe.
Even still... we need to win games against bad teams like CHW.
I don't know why it's such an issue. Injuries or not... Tanaka is on the hill, we still have a bunch of good-excellent BP arms... the lineup is depleted.. we're at home. I don't expect us to wipe the floor with bad teams... but we shouldn't be losing 2 of 3 to the White Sox.
I was hoping for a "get right" series here for US... but worried that it would be one for a crappy team like the White Sox instead, and unfortunately, that's basically what happened here.
We're hurting big time.. and I really don't expect much better than .500 ball until we start getting these key guys back. But, losing 2 of 3 to the White Sox @ home is annoying. We're better than that.
I really don't want to give the fucking Red Sox life next. We need to win these games.
The ball is carrying today.
1-0
2-0
He is a monster out there in RF.
4-2
Nibbling got Tanaka.

They just showed Pat Shurmur on the Jumbotron at Yankee Stadium and he got booed heavily.

Happy 54th birthday and thanks for being unable to build Beckham into the solution.

Heavy BBI presence at the Stadium.

Haha! It's far from just BBI.

This.
Totally agree. Just pathetic
It is all on the pitchers completely ignoring the baserunners. Last SB the runners was half way to second before the pitch was released.
dropping 2 of 3 at HOME to a garbage ass team.
they need to get healthy fast and im not even sure that will be enough

No, still 149 games left. Too soon to panic.
Lmao. So I guess your posting on Yanks threads will be over now that theres no reason to watch?
