This is assuming Remmers signs
#6 Quinnen Williams (or Josh Allen)
#17 Devin Bush (4.4 heat seeking missile who may be even better fit to Bettcher's D than White)
#37 Jaylon Ferguson (NCAA all time sack leader with good size and will be able to play some 3-4 DE)
#95 David Long CB (18 completions allowed in 595 defensive snaps , one of the steals of the draft)
All defense and 4 potential starters year 1.

Remmers if the back checks out is still young and played very well under Shurmur as a RT . He was out of place as an OG.
Agreed, he’s a guy to hold down the fort until a draft pick (Tytus Howard, Trey Pipkins, Bobby Evans) are ready.

Isn't a guy who changes the draft plans. He's a guy who they feel they can play if a rookie OT isn't ready to be the starter.

DG has a good eye and has picked up 3rd,,4th and undrafted picks on OL that turned out really good.
17 Devin Bush or best ER available
37 Rock Ya-Sin
95 Best developmental RT
Lots of QBs will have to be taken early for this to have a chance
17 - Daniel Jones (Devin Bush if non-QB)
37 - Jerry Tillery
95 - David Long
If Bosa isn't there you can sub Allen, Oliver, or Quinnen. If there's too much duplication with whoever they take at 6 and Tillery, you can sub Winovich at 37.
Best player available at 17.

If Tampa is in love with D.White as rumored and Jets trade down as they desperately want more picks, one of Allen or Quinnen has a pretty good shot of falling. Or we trade up with Oak as DaveTe mentioned for Q.

He's an average player. Prior to the injury he's an upgrade over what we have. Who knows now? He just turned 30 and has back issues. Those are a killer for a lot of people. Especially 300+ pound humans. Like I said he isn't stopping us from taking a OT if the value is there.
Yeah it would. These are all guys who could impact year 1 and transform this D quickly. Which is exactly what we need.

While I want a WR at 37 I would be very happy with your draft as well. I am convinced that something crazy is going to happen and 1 out of Q Williams, Bosa, or Allen are going to fall to 6.

Highly unlikely, but we can dream right?
#11 Dexter Lawrence menace in middle eating up double teams and providing a bit of pass rush (on a trade down with Bengals for pick 43 and more)
#17 Devin Bush (4.4 heat seeking missile who may be even better fit to Bettcher's D than White)
#37 AJ Brown (or Hakeem Butler). Nuanced route runner at 225+lbs. Day 1 starter in 3 WR sets.
#43 Jaylon Ferguson (NCAA all time sack leader with good size and will be able to play some 3-4 DE)

Love it except for Harry. No question he is a tough cookie with great hands. But don't see a guy who gets enough separation . I see a poor mans Alshon Jeffery . By no means terrible but not really that great either. And not the ideal additional dynamic to what we already have.

Think you need to put a defender in at 17 if you go TE at 6.
Grier is a playmaker. I honestly believe he's a dark horse in all of this...
You can likely get him outside of round 1 or trade back into round 1. Shurmur went to his pro day while Shula went to Jones.

Grier is accurate as anything, moves well, has good enough size, and played in the style of offense Shurmur likes. i'd be happy with Grier, I think he has just as much of a chance to be a top NFL QB as Jones, Lock, or Haskins. Getting him in the 2nd round just makes it even better

I don't think that way. I see an opportunity to make something (the OL) a strength, so I'd take that opportunity.
I understand that this defense needs players, but adding Oliver or Sweat isn't going to transform the defense into a strength.
Alternatively, if the Giants want to do something like this I'd be OK with it too:
6. Oliver
17. Wilkins
37. Winovich
If I'm Gettleman I'm approaching this draft as an opportunity to make some area of the roster the backbone of my team. My preference, given that Barkley is our best player and I believe Hockenson is the best player we could draft at #6, would be to focus on the offensive line. If they wanted to go the opposite way and build the defensive line I'm fine with that too. Just come out of this with an area that is going to be the backbone of the team.
Tillery
Grier

Another poster mentioned this and I agree: I have a hunch it's Grier. Follow the money - Gettleman went to see Grier play last year when Grier and WVU put up 56 points against Oklahoma (though arguably he was there to see Murray as well). Shurmur went to Grier's pro day.

Grier checks alot of boxes.

GT , I think quite a few of these combos are areas the Giants have strong need. WR may not be high on the list after signing Shepard. Two guys now with 40M deals along with a glorified WR in Engram and a receiving back in Barkley.

Like it alot but Dexter probably doesnt get out of round 1. Would need another trade up and maybe get another guy like Tillery perhaps.
