some very lean years surrounded by constant talk about the team moving. The Tavares years that followed were an improvement and had some good times but ultimately were a disappointment punctuated with a kick in the ball to end it.

The Lou/Trotz era is what we've finally been waiting for. The team has a disciplined system that's going to keep them in games against anyone. They had a top 5 farm system pre-season and great performances this year have kept the system strong. They'll have a shitload of cap space this offseason.

Time to sit back and enjoy. The future and the present looks good. Hopefully Carolina and Washington play a nice long series.
