I have a 2006 Chevy Uplander with 245k, a 2003 Honda Civic with 165k, and a 2003 Ford F150 with 250k on it. Lots of miles -no car payment. Yea I'm cheap.
about 267,000 miles on it right now. I think a u-joint is going bad on it and the windshield has cracks and needs replaced, but otherwise it's going pretty strong. I want it to last at least another year for me and I'll consider replacing it.
I just gave it to my nephew in January. I have too many cars and I'm the only driver. Just wasn't worth paying the insurance for it. It was my main beach vehicle. Now, my 2003 Jeep Liberty has taken over that role.
Had 240+ when I sold it in 2014. Best car I've ever owned (not my favorite tho). Only did routine maintenance on it except for two sensors that I replaced myself. Sold it for a Honda Crosstour and immediately regretsed it lol.
Year thanks to Toyota and I planned on having it forever. Knock sensor went and it was a $3500 repair plus the AC was shot for another $1500 so I said screw it and bought a new one. Hopefully this one will go 400k.
Had it 11 years and got 9K for the trade in so it did ok by me
2002 Cherokee Sport.. I had about 190k on that thing before I upgraded. It was my first truck. Got it when I was 20 and ran that fucker into the ground. Only had about 50k on it when I got it.

My boss just got the new frame...it's essentially a brand new truck!
Had a 1991 Honda civic (my wife's car) we bought new and sold Â
in 2014 with 440,000. The girl that bought it, just recently had it up to 560,000 and strangely enough, it still has the original clutch. Have another 2001 Honda with 245,000 on it.Here in AZ you can drive cars forever as there is no rust and mostly highway driving.
With a 2.2 litre turbo. Bought it almost new, had it for 10 years and 165k miles. Besides the usual wear items and a couple head gaskets, was a good car. A pothole on I95 did her in. Engine / trans still ran strong.
1996 Olds Cutlass again bought new sold in 2012 with 120k
1995 GMC Jimmy bought new sold in 2004 115k
2003 Ford Explorer limited V8, bought new, 125k and still have it and will keep for quite a few more years. She has been very good to me.
What’s a 91 Toyota with half a million miles go for? Â

My ex-wife put 850000 km's (530000 miles) on that car.
Thing was a tank. She put 70K++ km's a year on that bad boy.
Traded it in for a new Mazda 3 in 2015
up for longevity just based on the responses so far.
Here is another testament for Toyota. It was never mine, but was in the family. A Toyota Starlet. It had incredible gas mileage. The car was a small hatchback and the one feature that I remember is that it had a choke on the dash. The only car that I remember having one. But it was passed around the family as people needed a ride. It last ended with my grandfather who still ran it as daily driver until 1994 when he passed away. It was originally purchased back in 1981.
I was going to sell it to a family friend for $1000 or something so they could give it to their 16 year old (in 2013) and I brought it to a car wash to shine it up before selling it and as the conveyor belt on the car wash ended and I put the car in drive to get out of the car wash, it died and blocked the whole car wash.

Was it Jon Voight’s Lebaron?
No, but if it was it would of been worth more.
RE: 2006 Honda CRV currently with 230,000 in Vermont Â
Good to hear. My 2015 is almost 4 years old & has 38K. My experience in Northern New England is that the body rot kills the vehicle before the mechanicals.
Most of mine are done somewhere around 120K
Now that I'm on a paved road and garage my car, I \hope for better results.
2002 Ford Expedition - 278,000 Traded it in 2014 for down payment on a new car. The Bronco II had a manual Mitsubishi engine and needed the transmission rebuilt around 150k. When I traded the Expedition in it needed a new transmission. I found a guy to do it or a reasonable cost, but, the AC had become a unfix-able problem, and an alarm would come on when I went over 75mph. Dated electronics, etc.
But a client of mine had a Tacoma just shy of 700,000 miles when somebody hit him and totaled it. His current Tacoma is sitting over 400,000
wow
Lot's of highway miles. Guy grew up about 600 miles north of Anchorage Alaska. Works all over the country as a munitions disposal expert and has a bunch of equipment that can't or won't go on airplanes.
Guy's in his late 60's and he's still digging up ordnance from WWI. He said his grandson could go into his line of work in 20 years, go an entire career and still be digging up shit from WWI at the end of it.
K-car variant. Good, comfortable, reliable little car. Drove it to 230+k . Gave it away to a friend who drove it for awhile and then cleaned it up and sold it to someone else. I'm pretty sure it ended with over 250k. A quarter-million miles is a pretty good run.
The Sundance and Dodge Shadow (it's corporate cousin) were everywhere around here in the late 1990's-2000's. The last one I saw in the wild was 2018, almost 25 years after the last one rolled off the assembly line.
Had it 11 years and got 9K for the trade in so it did ok by me
Good thing that truck couldn't talk...
