Get ready for the Robert Kraft handy video

DanMetroMan : 4/17/2019 1:24 pm
Prosecutors said in court documents Wednesday that they are planning to release video of New England Patriots owner Robert Kraft at a Florida day spa, according to the Boston Globe.

Kraft's lawyers argued in court last week that the release of video evidence capturing him paying for sex at the Orchids of Asia Day Spa could "destroy" his chances at a fair trial.

"If the affidavit says what happened, what is the interest the public has in seeing it? It's basically pornography," Kraft attorney William Burck said Friday.

I'm sure the public

Correct. That is one of the reasons Florida gets the crazy Florida reports. Most states do not have arrest records public, at least that is my understanding.

Maybe there's an endgame I'm not seeing, but it seems to me that the smart thing to do after being caught would be to agree to a plea deal and pay a substantial fine to make this all go away.

All this legal wrangling over the video is keeping it in the news cycle. Christ, if the video was released two weeks ago we'd have forgotten about it by now. Instead Kraft and his legal team seem hellbent on making sure people are talking about this right up until the draft.

The initial "full response comment" was very funny the poster saying "he already had a full release" Obviously didn't get that the first poster was saying that but in a punny..using it in a sentence kind of way...its called humor.

I am loving that Kraft is squirming and feeling like a jerk off and will be punished. Something about the super rich being made to look like asswipes that I like. He is the head of a cheating scumbag organization. He is paying Tom Brady an extra..I don't know 20-30-40 million a year through tb 12..probably more and there is nothing anyone can do about it. Always circumventing rules to manage to somehow cheat to get an advantage. I hate him, the patriots and there bitch fans.

This is such a low life thing to do. I have plenty of friends that do it, I went myself once and found it completely distasteful. Didn't finish, the thought of the 5 million other cocks my masseuse felt that day just turned me off. I left feeling dirty, this is a low life way to get off. Perfect for Kraft.

I have read little about this but I do think it's unlikely that he was involved in or knew about sex trafficking. And, if this rises to the level of prostitution, then even so, if he wasn't famous then the law wold have moved on from the getgo. I think he's being punished just for who he is and that doesn't seem right to me.

I read the authorities came out and said there was no sex trafficking at the facility that Kraft frequented.

clearly Kraft is having the screws turned because he's famous.

Not suggesting he's a victim here, and I really don't care, but if he was a nobody this wouldn't have been news
Sometimes fame helps people get away with things
steve in ky : 4/17/2019 3:29 pm : link
the average Joe wouldn't have, other times their fame comes back to bite them in the rear.

Just as with anyone navigating their way through life, it's often a roulette wheel to where some people get away with "things" while others doing the same get caught.

I don't take any pleasure in, or relish his being caught, and now having to go through this, but I certainly don't feel he has gotten the short end of the stick either. Things happen.

bluetothegrave : 4/17/2019 3:32 pm : link
He is such a dirtbag that if he knew about the sex trafficking he probably would have went anyway. Why give him the benefit of the doubt? Look..most of us men have known plenty of guys to do this. I know guys that do it to "stay faithful" to their wives. It is not the worst thing to do and I would agree with you about the ridiculous public humiliation and punishment....if it were someone who wasn't already a lying, conniving, look at me asshole. He is a low life who lies like most people breathe. His "denying" of this is what really made me angry. Caught red handed and still lying. So for once I'm going to enjoy the Media Frenzy and public castigation for a crime that really wasn't that bad...hang em high in this case. Ill laugh my ass off all day. Public humiliation...all day for this guy Bill.

No accountability goes a long way with me. Ruin his life as best you can media hounds...do your thing.

By Florida law, the video would be available to the public no matter who is accused. Kraft his significantly more to lose than some regular Joe who pays $40 for a rub-n-tug, which he probably should have thought about before he did it - at least twice.

Kraft isn't the victim here. If he wasn't Robert Kraft, he'd have been tried and convicted by now.

Kraft wasn't the target. There were 30+ people arrested in connection with an investigation of the massage parlors.

We wouldn't know about it if Kraft wasn't involved, but the only reason there's a video of him is that warrants were issued for surveillance of the establishment. They weren't following Kraft around, he walked into an illegal operation and committed a crime.
I guess I shouldn't be surprised anymore

Obviously this incident wasn't smart, but smart people do stupid things all the time. Doesn't mean they're not smart or that they feel like they're above the law.

but Kraft is an incredibly intelligent person. Saying he's not smart or saying that people confuse his wealth for intelligence just shows you are talking out of your ass.

He can be very smart and an arrogant douche bag.

they're not mutually exclusive.

The only problem here (is for the Pats), is the self-righteous NFL trying to be the off-field morality police. That's the problem (for the Pats). If he didn't own an NFL team, no one would care and it wouldn't even be news.

Otherwise, no harm, no foul.
