Most of us would love to fix the dl/er, ol, and qb in the first three picks. I think the consensus is that we go dl/er with six since this is the strength of the draft and fills a huge need.
The problem becomes how to get our first choice at qb since all four first round grade qb's will probably be gone at 17.
If we like jones or locke or even haskins we probably need to trade to 9 in front of Denver, cincy, and wash. JT has alluded to this possibility. What would this cost us?
Of course we could stay at 17 and get a quality ol but signs point to us signing remmers which would make this less urgent for the upcoming year
-Bills traded to 9 for the 12th pick and two second rounders
-Saints went from to 14 for the 27th pick, an additional first rounder, and a 4th rounder
Hopefully 17, a 3rd, and a fourth can do it?

Did you even read your own post? Do you really believe that the last pick in the third round before comp picks and a 4th is getting this done?
My prayer all along has been that a blue chipper falls to us because QB's go #1 and #3 (Jets trade down for a nice haul, perhaps?) and DL Bosa, Williams or LB J. Allen are there at #6. If not, we trade the 6th pick to maybe Denver or even New England for players and picks (assuming QB Jones is there and he simply isn't high on our draft board).
But in the end, DG will stick to his draft board and most likely the draft will go (no trades):
1. Murray
2. Bosa
3. Allen
4. Williams
5. D. White / Ed Oliver
6. E. Oliver / D. White
Oliver could end up as big of a stud as the others before him, but in a pass rush sense. He isn't as strong, not nearly as strong, as Donaldson who is so freaking quick like Oliver but also has pure power behind him too. Oliver is not quite that guy BUT has that burst you can't teach.
D. White starts all 5 years and likely probowls. He is the goods & can cover and play 4 downs (every snap).
But imagina if the Giants trade Denver their #6 for Denver's #1, #2 and #3 for our #5 too? Or something like that? You'd have to be happy even though that trade only happens if a QB is there that Denver really wants to build on. We'd be passing two years in a row on a QB of note. Scary "cross your fingers" move that could impact the team for decades POSITIVELY or NEGATIVELY, depending upon how the QB develops and plays, of course.
Go Giants: viva la "Best Player Available" all day and every day!

-Arizona moved to 10 for the 15th pick, a 3rd, and a 5th rounder

I mean - was going more off of the Rosen trade I guess since it's somewhat similar to the OP's scenario (15 to 10 vs 17 to 9). That said, forgot that the 3rd round pick is significantly lower than where Arizona's was last year.
Stand pat and draft 2 immediate defensive starters or trade down for more 2020 ammo (NE moving up for a TE perhaps)
