could be affected by how the Knicks do in the lottery. If they get #1 they are already "up and coming."
If they get #2 and it's Ja Morant, the Knicks might be better off looking at a shooting guard for the second slot, if Durant is OK doing it without Kyrie. Or, if they go with Kyrie, then a number of teams would bid up for Morant.
If they get #3 and it's Barrett, that would work with Kyrie. So would Hunter at #4, I would think.
i just dont see kyrie leaving a young up and coming team in boston with good management, durant with the knicks or not
Kyrie sure doesn’t act like a guy that loves being in Boston. And it’s possible that he doesn’t feel as warm and fuzzy as you about Boston’s ceiling/future. Sure they’ve got some talent but any team that lands Kyrie and Durant would likely have a much higher ceiling than Boston. They are a nice regular season team that can win some playoff series, but I don’t see them as a serious title threat without landing another star. And for whatever reason, players don’t seem to lineup at the door to go to Boston.
Besides, no one ever knows what the hell Kyrie is thinking...
Frank gets traded for Mo Bamba. Knicks may need to send additional capital
Ja Morant is the pick
Mudiay doesn’t get signed
Jordan signs for the exception
Mario doesn’t get signed
Lance bought out
Dennis Smith backup
Kadeem backup
about his personality, Kyrie is at least top 5 in the league regarding his clutch factor.
Even as a Nets fan, i would not hate some max guys going to the Knicks. I'm tired of basketball being a laughingstock here.
As for what Stephen A Smith said, if the Nets give Russell the max i'm not sure who else comes. Kawhi is the best fit but i think he is a Clipper. GS is going to max Klay in 2 seconds, he is staying.
If you're a Knicks fan, do you hate getting Kemba instead of Kyrie? I wouldn't. A little older but another guy who i feel will play his best when it matters most.

That Kyrie went out of his way to leave lebron a few years ago and that the two could never coexist again? Or am I wrong.
